A bright spacious apartment with stunning views over the river forth in the unique and historical village of Culross.
Take a step back in time and visit Culross with its 17th and 18th century houses and its many historical attractions.
Visit the beautiful National Trust Culross Palace as well as the ancient Abbey and Townhouse.
Culross is ideally situated to explore the Central Belt of Scotland, with Edinburgh and Glasgow both within a 30 minute drive, and the many coastal villages of Fife within easy reach. Wonderful coastline walks abound or bike rides along the Fife Coastal Path and the Firth of Forth. Within the village fantastic food is available at the Red Lion Inn a family run restaurant and bar famous for it's sizzling steaks (booking advised).For light refreshment a cafe selling local produce and ceramics is perfect for rainy days.
The accommodation comprises one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, a spacious lounge, a kitchen/diner and family sized bathroom with shower over bath. There is a lovely garden to the rear.

The Fife region
The Kingdom of Fife is full of colourful fishing villages that are framed by glorious beaches which sweep the coastline. Both St Andrews and Ryder Cup 2014 host Gleneagles are within a short drive away. For fantastic days out with the kids try Cluny Clays, Muddy Boots, the Deer Centre, sea world or one of the numerous soft play centres situated in nearby towns Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline.
The city of Dunfermline, birth place of Andrew Carnegie with its beautiful historic Abbey and Pittencrief park are only 14 km away. Dunfermline has a great variety of bars and restaurants which cater to all tastes and there is much shopping to be done in the recently completed Kingsgate shopping centre. For rainy day activities try decorating your own ceramic pieces in the wonderful and family friendly Ceramic Experience or perhaps Carnegie Leisure centre for swimming.
Scotland's capital city Edinburgh is only a 30 minute drive away and Dunfermline has regular buses and trains. It boasts such attractions as Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, Arthur's Seat and the National Museum of Scotland as well as having world class shopping along Princes Street, George Street and the upmarket Multrees Walk. Edinburgh is of course home of a host of fantastic and world class festivals, from the Edinburgh International Festival, the Festival Fringe and the Book Festival, as well as housing world class theatre and music venues. During the winter months there is a fantastic winter wonderland and German market. You will be spoilt for choice in terms of food and drink, with everything from well known chains like the Hard Rock Cafe and Gourmet Burger Kitchen, to Michelin star restaurants.
Glasgow, home of the 2014 Commonwealth Games is a 30 minute drive away. Glasgow hosts a wide range of visitor attractions including the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, The Glasgow Science Center and the newest music venue in Scotland, the SSE Hydro.The shopping here is fantastic, and outdoor spaces such as Kelvingrove park provide a calming escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
There is really so much to see and do throughout the Central belt of Scotland that you will be spoilt for choice.
The apartment nestles within the historic village of Culross, with it's wonderful cobbled streets and beautiful houses. Directly opposite the apartment is a beautiful community garden and only a short walk away is the Palace with its cafe, Abbey, Townhouse, locally owned grocer and shop and the Red Lion Inn, famed for it's sizzling steaks. The area has many fantastic coastal and village walks and there is play park a short walk away.

"Great Place to stay!"
A wonderful village location, and a great base to explore the region. A well decorated and appointed, comfortable flat with great views over the Firth of Forth.
Oh yes, make sure you book for the Red Lion, whatever night you go!

"A lovely house in a beautiful location."
We stayed here for 3 nights while viditing the Royal Highland Show 2014. The house was lovely - clean, warm and very welcoming. The village of Culross is beautiful. Linda and Mike were very helpful and the welcome badket was a lovely thought.

"Brilliant place in superb village"
Made to feel very welcome. Linda left lovely welcome basket which meant we could have a cup of tea and a biscuit without venturing out again. Place was spotless and very tastefully decorated. Culross is a beautiful village with lovely walks along the Forth just outside the door.
