Home description

The apartment is located on the 9th floor, with access via two lifts, with great views towards Cullera Castle and open countryside.

The apartment is furnished with modern furniture, with two new bathrooms having been installed. Each bathroom has a shower and WC and the kitchen has all of the usual applicances.

The apartment is cleaned one per week with all linen being refreshed once a week.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Valencia Province region

From a birds eye view, Cullera reveals itself as an arc formation that embraces the Mediterranean, whilst extending to what is known as the ‘Montaña de Cullera’ (Cullera Mountain) or the ‘Sierra de las Zorras’ (The Sierra of the Foxes).

Located on the left bank of the river Júcar, this cosmopolitan town has some enviable beaches and an exceptional natural environment with a large fresh-water lagoon, the ‘Albufera nature reserve’. The wealth of landscape is completed by a variety of crops, which change the colour of the countryside with each season of the year.

The city of Cullera is located only 38 km to the south of the capital of Valencia. The urban nucleus extends in a semicircle around the slope of Monte de Oro, limiting its development with the left margin of the Xúquer river and the Mediterranean Sea.

Cullera is constituted mainly by an extensive plain, whose main prominencia is the mount of the Vixens with a level of 233 meters.

The vegetation characterises itself by the orchard, naranjos, rice fields, olive trees, carob trees and fruit trees. Its climate is dry with annual temperatures above to 17 Degrees C.

THE SURROUNDINGS

The beaches, the mountain, the Xúquer river, l'Estany and the lagoon of Sant Llorenç, constitute the fundamental elements of the natural landscape of Cullera.
From north to the south, the main beaches are the following:

Mareny, at which an authorised nudist beach exists, Canopy, which is very well known for diving and sport fishing, the Racó, San Antonio, Jetty, Marenyet, l'Estany and the Brosquil. Great L'Estany is a natural lagoon.

It constitutes an authentic paradise for the cane fishermen, taking into account the amount and quality of the eels, carps or lubinas. The Xúquer river is a natural space where is the only fluvial port of all the Valencian Community. The Bassa de Sant Llorenç is a great pool located to the north of the d'Or Muntanya.

In summer, the beach is filled with the temporary facilities with which to practice windsurfing. All year round, the municipal sports centre, and a marvellous covered pavilion offer, volleyball, indoor football, basketball, badminton, rhythmic gymnastics and handball, as well as different types of martial arts.

Club Cullera Garbí
---------------------
This is a beach installation located in the small bay called Cap Blanc, in the northern part of the town of Cullera. It is protected from the strong winds and normally has calm seas enabling the less experienced to practise their sailing skills. It is open during Easter and the summer months and provides rental services, teaching courses and storage areas for windsurf boards.

Club Náutico de Cullera
---------------------------
This club is located at the mouth of the Júcar River, presenting a picturesque image of a riparian port right next to the town centre. Its biggest attraction is the entrance and exit to the sea at the mouth of the river, where local fishermen line the shores. Skippers should keep an eye out for fishing lines as they move up and down the river mouth.

Club Piragüismo Cullera
----------------------------
On the south bank of the Júcar River, this club is a reference point in town, because some of the better-known canoeists in the country have been trained here. To watch how they train is a spectacle in itself and not a few enthusiasts are likely to sign up on the spot.

Delfín Cullera (Fedas)
--------------------------
This club is a member of FEDAS and offers diving tuition including courses for the 1 to 3-star levels that lead to the internationally recognised CMAS qualification. Apart from courses and practical training, they also organise dives at diverse spots in the area, mainly near the Lighthouse and the Peña del Moro.

Seasurf Patrol
----------------

At the foot of the Santa Marta mountain, covered with Mediterranean pine forests and overlooking the sea, this is a beachfront installation focusing mainly on windsurf and funboard, and providing a range of services such as courses and board hire. It is open during Easter and during the summer months.

Cullera is 35 Kilometers south of Valencia and 25 Kilometers north of Gandia.

Fly to Valencia or Alicante Airports. Cullera is 45Kilometers south of Valencia Airport.

The A-7 motorway (exit 59) connects Cullera with Valencia and Alicante. The N-332 connects the city with all the towns along the coast; railway connections to Valencia, Alicante and Madrid; and in addition bus services with national and international connections.
