El Olivar is very spacious and is laid out across three levels. You enter the villa via the front driveway which has been beautifully landscaped with exotic plants and various olive trees. You enter on the ground floor which consists of a fully fitted kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker etc. There is also a separate small utility area with a washing machine.

Cuevas Del Almanzora / Desert Springs area
Mojacar village is an idyllic mix of sugar-cubed whitewashed buildings, cobbled winding streets and beautiful Moorish architecture. The main square looks across to the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains and is filled with street cafes, bars, boutiques and shops. Take a stroll through the maze of cobbled streets hidden behind the main square and you will find some wonderful restaurants and bars.
The area has many archaeological sites revealing Phoenician, Roman and Carthaginian histories. Visits to the local markets are very popular: Mojacar on Wednesdays, Garrucha on Fridays and Vera on Saturdays.
Granada is one of Spain’s most interesting and beautiful ancient cities. After a pleasant drive through the mountains, visit - on foot - the 14C Alhambra, the citadel of the Caliphs of Granada, perched on a hill overlooking the city, and the nearby Generalife gardens. Then on to the cathedral where, in the Capilla Real (royal chapel), the Catholic monarchs Ferdinand II of Aragon and Isabella of Castille are buried, and the Silk Bazaar.
How to get there
Almeria airport is only 50 minutes drive away. Majority of cheap airlines fly in and out of Almeria. Easyjet, Monarch, Ryan Air and BA fly from most UK airports to Almeria.
Airport pick-ups can be arranged at reasonable rates. We do however recommend that you rent a car. This will give you total freedom to explore the beautiful Almeria coast.

Further details indoors: Also on the ground floor is the open plan lounge / diner. The lounge area is spacious and bright and comes furnished with English TV, DVD player, stereo, internet access, real log fire and is also air-conditioned. Patio doors lead from the lounge to the rear garden and pool area.
Also on the ground floor there are three bedrooms. The main bedroom on this floor can either come as a king or a twin room (please state preference at time of booking) and comes complete with an en suite shower room. All three bedrooms are furnished with ceiling fans. There is also a further family bathroom and a separate guest cloakroom.
The lower floor has been converted in to two areas. One being a stylish dining area and the other a spacious cinema room which comes complete with large projector, DVD player and full surround sound.
The top floor of El Olivar is where you will find the air-conditioned king-size master bedroom and access out on to the roof terrace. The master bedroom has its own dressing area and en-suite with separate bath and walk-in shower. The bedroom has double patio doors leading out on to a large private terrace with table and chairs overlooking the garden and out on to the golf course and mountains.
Further details outdoors: The patio doors from the lounge open out on to the large terrace area, gardens and pool. There are two covered terraces. The dining terrace, with seating for 8, can also be accessed directly from the kitchen. It is the ideal spot for al fresco dining with a built-in barbecue and atmospheric lighting for those long summer evenings. There is also further comfy seating area with a sofas and armchairs overlooking the gardens and pool.
The pool and gardens are stunning and have been beautifully landscaped and manicured. The pool is very stylish and of a good size and consists or three circles all adjoining with one of the circles being a Jacuzzi. There is off street parking via a gated front driveway with space for up to two cars.
