The Costa de Almeria region

Cuevas Del Almanzora / Desert Springs area

The location of this villa is ideal for golfers and non-golfers alike. On your doorstep is Europe’s first and only Arizona desert style golf course, the perfect challenge for any golfer. For non-golfers, the Desert Springs Resort is set in the most peaceful and beautiful rural surroundings where relaxation is guaranteed. The resort also offers plenty of activities, such as tennis, mountain biking, volley ball, children’s play areas, gymnasium and with the beautiful Mediterranean beaches less than 15 minutes away there is something for everyone.

Mojacar village is an idyllic mix of sugar-cubed whitewashed buildings, cobbled winding streets and beautiful Moorish architecture. The main square looks across to the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains and is filled with street cafes, bars, boutiques and shops. Take a stroll through the maze of cobbled streets hidden behind the main square and you will find some wonderful
restaurants and bars.

The area has many archaeological sites revealing Phoenician, Roman and Carthaginian histories. Visits to the local markets are very popular: Mojacar on Wednesdays, Garrucha on Fridays and Vera on Saturdays.

Almeria airport is only 45mins drive away.
Majority of cheap airline fly in and out of Almeria.
Easyjet, Monach and BA fly from most uk airports to Almeria.

Airport pickups can be arranged at reasonable rates. We do however recommend that you rent a car. This will give you total freedom to explore the beautiful Almeria coast.

Once inside you have a cloakroom on your left and a beautiful modern and well-equipped kitchen on your right. The kitchen is fully fitted with a dishwasher, oven & ceramic hob, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, juicer etc.. Just off from the kitchen is a separate utility room which houses the washing machine. The kitchen also has a breakfast bar with stools.

The master double bedroom is en suite with a beautifully tiled large bathroom with twin sinks, a full size bath and a separate walk-in shower. The bedroom has double French doors that lead out onto the covered terrace area by the pool. It is also air-conditioned.

Both the second and third bedrooms are twins rooms and are also air-conditioned.

The second bathroom is again beautifully tiled with twin sinks and it has a large walk-in shower.

The air-conditioned lounge area is spacious and bright and has been furnished to a very high standard. There is seating for six people and comes complete with English TV and a selection of Sky channels, DVD & video player, stereo, real log fire and there is also a broadband internet connection. There is also an open plan dining area.

Further details outdoors:
There are large French doors leading off the lounge onto a lovely raised covered terrace area which overlooks the tropical garden, the private pool and out across the immaculate 2nd green. There is wicker seating on the terrace allowing you to take in the beautiful scenery in style and comfort.

The pool is spacious and ideal for a family. Out of season, it can also be *heated if required.

There is also an outside dining table and chairs set to accommodate six, ideal for those summer evening BBQ’s. In the garden there is also a petanque pitch.

Stairs lead you from the lower terrace up to an enormous roof terrace with the most amazing 360 degree panoramic views. This is an ideal spot for those serious sun worshippers and is equipped with sun-loungers and a sun parasol.
