A mile away is the local village of Cublac where you find every facility: bar/restaurant, boulangerie/patisserie, post office, pharmacy, grocery store/tabac and the Mairie. Available also tennis and horse riding. Driving down a few mins, you are in the historical medieval town of Terrasson. Traditional markets are held on and around the 12c bridge over the river Vézère. The heart of the ancient town boasts michelin star gastranomic restaurants.

The area is rich in picturesque villages and you will enjoy the typical atmosphere through local festive and cultural events. The summer festivals all over the region will enchant you. The nearby Corrèze department, green and rural, offers beautiful scenery and quiet surroundings, a refreshing alternative to culture and history.

The Limousin / Auvergne / Correze region

The Dordogne is one of the most idyllic regions in France, and Bellevue is well situated to explore all that it has to offer. Perigeuex, Montignac, Les Eyzies, the caves of Lascaux, Hautefort and the picturesque town of Sarlat are all within easy reach. These are all famous sites, many with colourful street markets. Terrasson Lavilledieu is 4 kms away. An 18 hole golf course is 20 minutes away in Brive-la-Gaillarde, and there are more in the area.

Cublac area

Cublac is situated right on the border with the Dordogne, and is only 5 minutes away from the picturesque riverside town of Terrasson-Lavilledieu. This commune in the Perigord Noir offers banks, supermarkets, plenty of restaurants as well as nearby canoeing, river trips, tennis, horse riding and walks. The town is also renowned for the Gardens of the Imagination .

How to get there

Limoges airport and Bergerac airport 1¼ hour. Bordeaux airport 2 hours. Toulouse airport 2½ hours. Opening in 2009, Brive-Souillac airport 30 mins.

Changeover day is Saturday. Arrival after 4pm. Departure before 9:30am.

A deposit of 30% will confirm your booking, non refundable. The remaining balance is due 8 weeks to the rental periods at which time a security deposit of £300 is also required. This will be returned within fourteen days after departure inspection and not withstanding any damage.
