Bellevue is in a wonderful six acre private position situated in the north east of the Dordogne on the Correze border between Brive, Perigueux, Sarlat , Montignac , with second to none access to North, East, South, and West !! only one and a half kms from Cublac and five minutes from the wonderful town of Terrasson ! one and half hours from Limoges and Bergerac airports & thirty minutes from the new Brive airport , approx 9/10 hours drive from Calais ! surrounded by woods with numerous walking trails, offering charming views. Overlooking the Vézère Valley, the local village of Cublac where you find every facility: bar/restaurant, boulangerie/patisserie, post office, pharmacy, grocery store/tabac and the Mairie. Available also tennis and horse riding. two minutes drive, you are in the historical medieval town of Terrasson. Traditional markets are held every thursday on and around the 12c bridge over the river Vézère. The heart of the ancient town boasts michelin star gastranomic restaurants. This year we are proud and pleased to be welcoming back for a second time clients from 2012 and also a couple who have now become good friends returning for the fifth time !! 15 excellent reviews from clients speak for themselves of this excellent venue !!

The Limousin / Auvergne / Correze region

The Dordogne is one of the most idyllic regions in France, and Bellevue is well situated to explore all that it has to offer. Perigeuex, Montignac, Les Eyzies, the caves of Lascaux, Hautefort and the picturesque town of Sarlat are all within easy reach. These are all famous sites, many with colourful street markets. Terrasson Lavilledieu is 4 kms away. An 18 hole golf course is 20 minutes away in Brive-la-Gaillarde, and there are more in the area.

The Cublac area

Cublac is situated right on the border with the Dordogne, and is only 5 minutes away from the picturesque riverside town of Terrasson-Lavilledieu. This commune in the Perigord Noir offers banks, supermarkets, plenty of restaurants as well as nearby canoeing, river trips, tennis, horse riding and walks. The town is also renowned for the Gardens of the Imagination .

“Perfect tranquility” We enjoyed our stay at Bellevue. Really praceful setting and an amazing view. We loved having the pool and managed a swim almost everyday! The village of Terrasson only 2km away is one of the prettiest in France with great restaurants.Thank you to our wonderful hosts. “Holiday Gite in Perigord” We have just returned from a memorable two weeks @ Villa Bellevue. It is a very good gite and Trevor + Suzanne were very kind + helpful hosts. The pool is not very big with no shallow end but still perfectly OK and refreshing. Helped by very good weather we found the Perigord area one of the most attractive of France, with lots of places to visit and things to do without having to travel far. Most days we went out in the morning and then came back to enjoy the gite and spend afternoons/early evenings around the pool. With good food + wine magic !! “"A week just wasn't long enough!"” We have just returned from a really wonderful week at Bellevue (the villa) and would like to take this opportunity to thank Trevor and Suzanne for their generous hospitality during our stay. We have no reservations in recommending Bellevue as a holiday destination with lots to see and do in the surrounding area or if you prefer to take it easy, the pool offers a perfect place to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. We would definitively recommend the Wednesday market at picturesque Montignac and visits to Sarlat and Brives are a must. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Bellevue, the only problem we had was a week just wasn't long enough! “Gem of a holiday property” " Bellevue " is a spacious,well equipped,air-conditioned villa situated on a hillside with commanding views of the valley below. Ideally located for exploring this beautiful area of France either by car or on foot. The sun shines on the pool from early morning to early evening, a shaded terrace offering relief if it gets too hot. Suzanne and Trevor gave us a warm welcome and were available to sort out any problems and offer invaluable information on the area. Changeover day is Saturday. Arrival after 4pm. Departure before 9:30am.

A deposit of 30% will confirm your booking, non refundable. The remaining balance is due 8 weeks before the rental commences at which time a Damage deposit of €350 is also required. This will be returned within fourteen days if after departure inspection, the property is left as found ! clean & tidy ! itinery correct ! and no damage.
