Cromwell House is a lovely modern detached 3 bedroomed house. It is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of the traditional village of Cubert which is 1 mile from the beach and Holywell Bay. The house is equipped with all modern appliances including a washing machine, freezer and dishwasher. The master double bedroom has an an-suite bathroom with a large shower cubicle.

The two twin bedrooms one having two 3ft beds and the other having two 2ft 6in beds can both be used as twin or double and share a spacious family bathroom. From the sun-bathed south facing patio you can enjoy views of the sea and the surrounding countryside. Cubert itself has a general store (including a video/dvd rental service) a post office, a restaurant (The Anvil - very good food and family friendly), an excellent fish and chip shop and a small park. It is also serviced by a regular bus service to Newquay, Perranporth and Truro. Cubert is a really fantastic base for visiting all the attractions in Cornwall as well as a great place for walking along the dramatic coastline of North Cornwall. It is in easy reach of Newquay which is a major centre for surfing and the renowned Fistral Beach. The Eden Project at St Austell, one of Cornwall's most fascinating attractions, is only 20 minutes drive from Cubert.

The Cornwall region

Cornwall is the most beautiful County of the UK to spend a holiday. The beaches are mainly sandy and the coastline is breathtaking. It caters for all needs. It is excellent for swimming a surfing, coastal , walks, fishing and many other activities.

There is an abundance of National Trust areas and properties to visit along with other exceptional places of interest including the Eden Project.


Cubert is a small village just 1 mile from the coast. The nearest beach is Holywell Bay which is a large sandy beach with sand dunes and is very good for surfing and access to the coastal path. There are many Pubs in the area which cater for the holiday maker offering very reasonable bar food. Newquay is 3 miles from the property and Truro the County City is just 7 miles away. There is a fun park in Holywell Bay and Newquay has a Zoo and a swimming pool . There are many places of interest to visit in the locality and the local bus service is very good. There is also an airport in Newquay. The property is situated in easy reach of most of the attractions in Cornwall including the Eden Project which is about 10 miles away.
