About this location
The Brittany region
Brittany is the Celtic region of France. The inhabitants are close to Irish, Welsh, Scottish and Cornish. You will enjoy the local chouchen and locallly brewed beers. The gastronomy is based on seafood and Crêpes. Once you've tasted crêpes, you will definitely get addicted to it. Brittany's culture is strong and lively. You won't get bored!
The landscape is just as beautiful as you imagine. The winter storms have sculpted the coast across the millenium to offer you breathtaking views. Whether you enjoy hiking, cycling, sailing, or else, Brittany will offer you its best.
The Crozon Peninsula is well known for its fantastic and rich landscape. It offers all kind of opportunities to enjoy the calm and wilderness of Brittany. The beaches are all well preserved and are the favorites of surfers from all over France, Europe and even Australia! The Douarnenez Bay is ideally sheltered and you will be amazed by the sailing experience you can have there. As for the coastpath, there is no word string enough to describe it... Because of it's multiple exposure, the scenery is constantly changing, whether you wander on the North of the Peninsula or in the South. Some of the creeks found in the South will remind you of the Corsican ones, except maybe that the water is a little bit cooler!
The Crozon Peninsula is where you want to stay to connect with nature and the ocean...
