CROYDE SEA BREEZE is an attractive chalet-style bungalow situated in the peaceful location of Leadengate Close. This is a prime location just a few minutes walk from the centre of Croyde village with its vibrant pubs, restaurants, surf and beach shops. You will also be just a short level stroll from the beach, great for families and a firm favourite with surfers. This delightful bungalow provides an ideal base for a great range of holiday activities. Croyde beach is famous with surfers and families alike, while other renowned blue flag beaches are only a short scenic drive away. The South West coast path passes right through the village, whilst only a minutes stroll from Leadengate Close, dog lovers (and dogs) can take advantage of the acres of non restricted sand dunes located just behind Croyde beach. Set in its own enclosed lawned garden this pet-friendly fully double glazed holiday home has 3 bedrooms, sleeps 6 people and has off road parking for two cars.

LIVING AREAS
The front door leads into the open plan lounge and dining area. Furniture includes a 3-seater sofa, two armchairs, and a dining table in a sunny alcove with seating for 6 people. There is a flat screen HD TV/DVD (with Freeview), iPod docking station, VCR, radio and a tape player. An old-world country charm is captured by the ornaments and the drinks bureau / bookcase.

KITCHEN
The kitchen has fitted cream and wood units with a wood effect laminate flooring. A bright compact and efficient kitchen with all the appliances you would need including an electric 2-door oven with grill, 4 ring hob, a fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, cafetiere and all other essential kitchen utensils. The kitchen leads to a small utility area where you can find useful storage for outdoor gear and access to the private lawned garden and deck - a real suntrap!

BEDROOMS
A central lobby leads to 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate WC.
The master bedroom has a large, comfortable double bed, side table with reading lights, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. There is a south-west facing window with country views.
Bedroom 2 is a spacious room with twin beds, a wardrobe, chest of drawers, mirror-dresser and bedside cabinet. This room is decorated with a warm ocean-side colour theme.
Bedroom 3 contains a set of bunk beds, with a chest of drawers and a large built in wardrobe. This room is decorated in blues and has a beach theme.

BATHROOM
The family bathroom contains a bath with electric shower over, a pedestal hand basin, and an airing cupboard. There is also a separate WC.

OUTDOORS
The utility area leads out onto a spacious private back garden - a real suntrap! SEA BREEZE is surrounded on all sides by an enclosed lawned garden. In addition there is a delightful decked area with garden furniture for barbecues and relaxed entertaining. A charcoal BBQ is provided. There is a shed in the garden which is suitable for storing surfboards and other sporting equipment and comes equipped with windbreaks, body boards and beach gear. This bungalow will make an ideal base for any holiday maker. It is on the level and equidistant to the beach and the heart of the village with its famous pubs.

The West Country / Devon region

North Devon is one of the most beautiful areas of the British Isles. It boasts miles of unspoilt and award winning beaches. The coastline is one of the most popular surfing venues in the country, with Croyde being the most popular.

The beaches at Croyde and Woolacombe regularly win awards for cleanliness and safety and are manned by lifeguards throughout the summer months.

Most of the region appears to be untouched by time as sleepy, windy lanes reveal thatched roofed cottages and historic buildings and villages such as Lynton in the north of the region and Clovelly in the south. The village of Croyde has many examples of Cobb walled, thatched cottages.





Woolacombe Bay / Halsinger area
The coastline is as rugged as it is beautiful dotted with magnificent cliffs, tiny cove and picturesque harbours. It was once the haunt of smugglers, pirates and wreckers and the fascinating history is retold in many small museums along the coast. Today visitors who love Henry Williamson's famous Tarka the Otter can retrace Tarka's journey by following the Tarka Trail.

Croyde is ideally located within easy reach of the harbours of Clovelly and Lynmouth which are also perfect places to relax. Meander through the streets of Lynmouth and take a ride on the unique water powered cliff railway to the twin town of Lynton which is perched high on the cliffs. Clovelly is another of the prettiest coastal village where it feels as if time stood still. The only means of transport on these famous cobbled streets are donkeys and sleds.

The Croyde area

WALK TO – Croyde, a magical place nestling around a stream running down to the sea. This award-winning sandy beach is fine and flat, ideal for children and good for surfing. With rock pools in abundance and dunes a haven for young and intrepid explorers. Local fun parks for the children such as Cascades Pool Park are a great way to spend the day. Croyde Bay is renowned as a premier surfing beach destination in England for short and long boards. For the more adventurous, kite surfing, volley ball, kayaking and horse riding is on your doorstep. Within walking distance of Croyde beach enjoy its ice cream shop, gourmet restaurants, superb village pubs, surf shops, and art gallery. This classic 'chocolate-box' village is steeped in old-world charm and echoes the feeling of life in Britain in times gone by. Coastal and Countryside walks include the majestic Croyde cliff path to Baggy Point, (and for those energetic), to Woolacombe and beyond.

CYCLE TO - A day at historic Braunton Burrows is great. Cyclists can enjoy the 30-mile Tarka Trail or South West coast path tracking the scenic coastline of North Devon.

DRIVE TO – explore the beautiful Exmoor National Park. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, The Milky Way and The Big Sheep all within a short driving distance. Cultural days can be passed at Arlington Court, historic Clovelly Village, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth, Victorian-styled Ilfracombe with its quaint fishing harbour and many more. Saunton Golf Course is a mere 3 miles down the road with its 2 famous links courses. Finally, picturesque walks through beautiful forested areas and running rivers such as at Watersmeet will complete your wonderful stay in this beautiful part of England.
