This fresh lovely property is a detached, modern house at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac only a 500 yards level stroll to the beach and the village. The warm neat secluded enclosed back garden always attracts the sun, and inside it is warm and comfortable with double glazing and convector heaters allowing it to be used all year round.

The lounge with its comfortable new sofas has the wow factor with its coordinated tasteful decor and sociable oval table seating 8. Superfast WIFI, a Playstation 2 and games, as well as books and a Bluray player will keep you entertained.You can chose to open up the patio sliding doors to the garden which is equipped with picnic tables and benches. The Devon region

Devon is a naturally beautiful area in the South West of England. Its north coast, where Croyde is situated, is fringed by the Atlantic Ocean giving any holiday that added opportunity for adventure fun and panoramic seascapes. The region is criss-crossed with walking paths and wild areas to explore whether it be through its impossibly pretty villages, coastal bays and miles of golden sand or on wind blown moorland. The main towns are Barnstaple and Bideford South Molton and Ilfracombe and provide opportunities for fine dining, Theatre, Cinema and Shopping. The nearest city is Exeter and there is a very picturesque train route there from Barnstaple which then links to the national network. The climate is generally warmer than other parts of the country being one of the most southern counties and this gives rise to some beautiful plantlife particularly in spring and makes going in the sea a much more pleasurable experience than in other parts of the country.


Croyde is a large village following the curve of its wonderful sandy bay, one of Britain's finest surfing beaches. It boasts a popular Thatched pub, several beach and surf related shops, good restaurants, 2 indoor heated leisure pools one of which is literally at the end of the road you will stay on. This also has a Gym, Jacussi and Sauna perfect for relaxing. There are lakes renown for wildlife, rock pools, and tea shops for the all important cream tea. You can hire a horse in Croyde and ride it through the surf for miles. The highly regarded golf course at Saunton is a 5 minute drive and you can pick up the coastal path 800m down the road. You will see Baggy Point, famous for its cliff climbs, from the bedroom window as you can the sunset over Lundy Island. Georgeham 2 miles up the lane also has excellent country pubs famous for their music and food. The nearest nightclub is Woolacombe 3 miles away. If you chose to stay here you will be able leave the car and easily walk to most of what you want to do. The beach is 500m one way and the village centre the same distance the opposite way so you are bang in the middle of everything this village has to offer. The nearest shop is 200m.

"Great location"

1 bedroom was bunk beds. Loads of dishes glasses etc. Fantastic location beach & village. Outside was very small patio was uneven surface which could be dangerous for small kids or older people. Our b… More

I'm glad that overall the holiday experience was good. The patio has a manhole cover which protruded above the patio level. I wasn't sure if this was my responsibility but as a result of these comments I contacted the Water Authority who have now realigned it so that it is no longer a trip hazard. The area surrounding it has been made safe by them too. I thank you for bringing this problem to my attention.

The house is ideal for families with lots to do in the ideal family location of Croyde. I agree 8 adults would be a squeeze but it is 3 bedrooms and fine for adults with a few children too if there are 8 people. It is very reasonably priced for Croyde. I have planning permission to extend and the garden will also be reconstructed at this time. Sizewise outside most people want an enclosed private sunny space to sit,eat and play on the grass. Any more than this the beach is literally 5 minutes walk away.
