CROYDE INGLENOOK COTTAGE OVERVIEW

CROYDE INGLENOOK COTTAGE is a charming character cottage located in the heart of Croyde village, one of the loveliest seaside villages in North Devon with its abundance of pretty thatched cottages and restaurants. Take a gorgeous 10 minute walk through the village and dunes to the beach. Croyde beach is backed by fabulous dunes, has a wonderful sandy beach, lovely clean water and is well known, particularly in the Autumn and Winter months, to be one of the best surfing spots in the world. This delightful pet-friendly cottage has 3 bedrooms, can sleep up to 8 people and is full of exposed wooden beams and natural stonework. Don't miss out on this gem of a holiday home in the heart of Croyde Bay.

LIVING AREAS

This warm and welcoming cottage is full of exposed wooden beams and natural stonework. The large lounge has original beams and a cosy cottage feel. Sofas seat a minimum of 6 people plus there are 8 dining chairs, and you'll be kept entertained with the TV, Freeview, video player and DVD player. On cooler evenings keep warm with the electric log effect stove (central heating included). There is a corridor with downstairs cloakroom containing a WC and sink.

There is no WiFi router within the property, but there is the bonus of picking up the local pub's free WiFi in the lounge!

KITCHEN

A traditional country kitchen with dark oak units contains a wonderful aga oven and stove (decoration only) and a separate cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a good selection of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.

A utility outlet houses a washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer and a high chair is provided.

BEDROOMS

CROYDE INGLENOOK COTTAGE has 3 sunny bedrooms, and a sofa bed in the lounge providing informal sleeping for a further 2 people.

Bedroom 1: Double bedroom (downstairs) with a built in wardrobe and storage space.

Bedroom 2: Double bedroom (upstairs) with a built in wardrobe and separate dressing area.

Bedroom 3: Twin bedroom (upstairs) with a built in wardrobe and storage space.

A travel cot is provided.

BATHROOM

Upstairs is a well-equipped bathroom with bath and electric shower overhead. Hand towels are kindly provided (please bring your own bath towels).

There is a downstairs cloakroom containing a WC and sink.

OUTDOORS

Steps lead to a quiet enclosed private garden with breathtaking views of Croyde rooftops and sea views in the distance from the new patio and seating area with picnic table. A great feature of this lovely cottage is the new stone built BBQ, fantastic for supper outdoors on lazy summer evenings. The garden is enclosed, so perfect to let your dog stretch its legs! Free parking is available in the cul-de-sac lane opposite.

WALK TO – Croyde is a magical place nestling around a stream running down to the sea. This award-winning sandy beach is fine and flat, ideal for children and good for surfing. Rock pools are in abundance and dunes a haven for young and intrepid explorers. Local fun parks for the children such as Cascades Pool Park are a great way to spend the day. Croyde Bay is renowned as a premier surfing beach destination in England for short and long boards. For the more adventurous, kite surfing, volley ball, kayaking and horse riding is on your doorstep. Within walking distance of Croyde beach enjoy its ice cream shop, gourmet restaurants, superb village pubs, surf shops, and art gallery. This classic 'chocolate-box' village is steeped in old-world charm and echoes the feeling of life in Britain in times gone by. Coastal and Countryside walks include the majestic Croyde cliff path to Baggy Point, (and for those energetic), to Woolacombe and beyond.

CYCLE TO - A day at historic Braunton Burrows is great. Cyclists can enjoy the 30-mile Tarka Trail tracking the scenic coastline of North Devon.

DRIVE TO – explore the beautiful Exmoor National Park. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, The Milky Way and The Big Sheep all within a short driving distance. Cultural days can be passed at Arlington Court, historic Clovelly Village, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth, Victorian-styled Ilfracombe with its quaint fishing harbour and many more. Saunton Golf Course is a mere 3 miles down the road with its 2 famous links courses. Finally, picturesque walks through beautiful forested areas and running rivers such as at Watersmeet will complete your wonderful stay in this beautiful part of England.

"A major dissapointment for us on arrival."
