One of North Devon's finest properties. Vention Garden Cottage is located on Putsborough Sands, perhaps North Devon's most beautiful beach. Putsborough and nearby Croyde Bay are among the UK's best surfing beaches. Peak surf seasons are April through June and September through November. Surfboards and wetsuits can be hired from the Putsborough Beach shop or in Croyde Village. Golf can be enjoyed at nearby Saunton Sands, which also offers some of the areas finest walks.

The Rock Inn in Georgeham (1 mile) is one of Devon's best pubs, serving up excellent food with a friendly and cosy atmosphere.
