CHERTSEY HOUSE has 4-bedrooms, sleeping 8, including a ground floor twin bedroom and ground floor family bathroom. The remaining 3 bedrooms and shower-room can be found on the first floor. Also on the ground floor is an open plan kitchen/dining area leading to the large lawned garden to the rear of the property. There is also a separate living room with feature electric fireplace and flat-screen TV. Pets welcome.

LIVING AREAS
To the right of the entrance hall is a comfortable lounge with large flat-screen TV and DVD player. The central hearth features a modern electric fireplace with remote control functions. There is comfortable seating for 7+ and views over the large lawned garden.
To the left of the entrance hall is the large open plan kitchen, dining room and family area. Perfect for entertaining, there is formal dining seating for 8 and a sofa for relaxing. From the lounge area, you access the garden and outdoor entertainment through a patio door.
KITCHEN / DINING
There is a modern contemporary well equipped kitchen with all the fixtures and fittings you would expect, including: Fridge, a small freezer, 4-plate stove, oven with grill, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher and washing machine. Ample cutlery together with fresh and lovely matching poppy crockery and mugs is provided for parties of 8.
The sociable kitchen/dining area opens up to a large open plan living space that includes an Ercol dining table that accommodates 8 with ease.
BEDROOMS
CHERTSEY HOUSE has 4 bedrooms. All of the bedrooms are lovingly decorated and contain real pine or modern furniture. The decor in the main is light, bright and airy, while the lightly colored walls add a sense of serenity.
Master bedroom (First floor): With large double bed. This room benefits from its location with views over the garden and wall-to-wall cupboards on either side of the bed.
Twin bedroom (First floor): A lovely twin bedroom with neutral theme, loads of storage space and armchair.
Double bedroom (First floor): Decorated in a relaxing blue theme, this bedroom has stunning views over the local church with plenty of shelving/storage.
Second twin bedroom (Ground floor): Downstairs there is a entrance hall leading to the downstairs twin bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom also contains a dressing table with mirror and small wardrobe.
BATHROOMS
CHERTSEY HOUSE has two bathrooms, a family bathroom and a shower room:
The family sized bathroom is located on the ground-floor, which is fully tiled and has a bath, bidet, toilet and pedestal basin.
The shower-room can be found on the first floor with tiled corner shower cubicle, toilet and pedestal wash basin.

The West Country / Devon region
North Devon is one of the most beautiful areas of the British Isles. It boasts miles of unspoilt and award winning beaches. The coastline is one of the most popular surfing venues in the country, with Croyde being the most popular.
A short-drive to the blue flag beach of Putsborough is approximately 1 3/4 miles from Georgeham. A classic surf beach on the North Devon coast and is surrounded by National Trust land with breathtaking views and numerous walks. CHERTSEY HOUSE also thoughtfully provides a complimentary Putsborough season ticket.
Woolacombe Bay / Halsinger area
The coastline is as rugged as it is beautiful dotted with magnificent cliffs, tiny cove and picturesque harbours. It was once the haunt of smugglers, pirates and wreckers and the fascinating history is retold in many small museums along the coast. Today visitors who love Henry Williamson's famous Tarka the Otter can retrace Tarka's journey by following the Tarka Trail.
The Croyde / Georgeham area
WALK TO - Georgeham village with excellent local pubs and village store. For walkers there is the fantastic South West Coast Path just a few minutes away.
CYCLE TO - Braunton village, Croyde Beach, Putsborough Beach. Croyde is a magical place nestling around a stream running down to the sea. This award-winning sandy beach is fine and flat, ideal for children and good for surfing. With Rock pools in abundance and dunes a haven for young and intrepid explorers. Local fun parks for the children such as Cascades Pool Park are a great way to spend the day. Croyde Bay is renowned as a premier surfing beach destination in England for short and long boards. For the more adventurous, kite surfing, volley ball, kayaking and horse riding is on your doorstep. Within walking distance of Croyde beach enjoy its ice cream shop, gourmet restaurants, superb village pubs, surf shops, and art gallery. This classic 'chocolate-box' village is steeped in old-world charm and echoes the feeling of life in Britain in times gone by. Coastal and Countryside walks include the majestic Croyde cliff path to Baggy Point, (and for those energetic), to Woolacombe and beyond. A day at historic Braunton Burrows is great. Cyclists can enjoy the 30-mile Tarka Trail tracking the scenic coastline of North Devon.
DRIVE TO - Putsborough, Saunton, Woolacombe, Barnstaple, North Devon towns and villages. Explore the beautiful Exmoor National Park. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, The Milky Way and The Big Sheep all within a short driving distance. Cultural days can be passed at Arlington Court, historic Clovelly Village, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth, Victorian-styled Ilfracombe with its quaint fishing harbour and many more. Saunton Golf Course is a mere 3 miles down the road with its 2 famous links courses. Finally, picturesque walks through beautiful forested areas and running rivers such as at Watersmeet will complete your wonderful stay in this beautiful part of England.

Good clean every thing you what for a great holiday , just like home from home. It was a nice touch that the people that owned it came to see if ever thing was ok,would go again. Not far from beach even a ticket for free parking at beach. |
