‘Sundowner’ is a spacious modern detached house close to the centre of picturesque Croyde and within a short walk of the beach. The house has been designed with all living rooms and a large balcony upstairs to take advantage of the stunning coastal and countryside views.
Front entrance on the ground floor with stairs leading to the lounge with open fire and TV/Video/DVD, dining area which comfortably seats 8 and access to the balcony. Kitchen with breakfast bar, electric fan oven and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Washing machine and tumble drier in garage downstairs. On the first floor landing is a cloakroom with wc and hand basin. Beyond this is the spacious master bedroom suite with panoramic views, King Size double bed, built in wardrobes, TV/DVD and en-suite bathroom - bath with power shower over, bidet, wc and basin.
Downstairs are 3 further bedrooms 1) King sized bed and fitted wardrobes 2) Twin bedded room with TV/VCR/DVD 3) Bunk beds plus a large family bathroom with bath and shower over, basin and wc. In addition there is a ground floor cloakroom with wc and basin.
At the front of the property there is parking space for 2 cars in the drive and to the rear an enclosed garden with child proofed fish pond. The garage provides plenty of space for surf boards, wet suits etc
Bed linen provided. Night storage heaters in all main rooms. Non-smokers only please. One well behaved pet by arrangement.

The West Country / Devon region
North Devon is one of the most beautiful areas of the British Isles. There are miles of unspoilt beaches which have won awards. Croyde is in one of the most popular surfing venues in the country. Miles of coastal paths provide spectcular walks and views.
The coastline is as beautiful as it is rugged, dotted with dramatic cliffs, tiny coves and pretty harbours. Visitors can take the Tarka Trail and retrace Tarka, the Otter's journey .
Day trips to Lundy Island are available from neibouring Ilfracombe and Bideford. Also, expolre the quaint village of Clovelly and its harbour.
There are fun attractions for children, such as 'The Big Sheep' and 'Dinosaur World'. Sports fans can play golf, go horse riding, cycling, surfing, kayaking, rock climbing and many other activities all within a 40 minute drive from Barnstaple, the region's major town.
Within easy reach are the harbours of Clovelly and Lynmouth which are also perfect places to relax and enjoy some of the finest seafood. You can meander through the streets of Lynmouth and take a ride on the unique water powered cliff railway to the twin town of Lynton, perched high on the cliffs. Clovelly is a timeless coastal village . The only means of transport on these famous cobbled streets are donkeys and sleds.
Croyde area
Putsborough, Saunton and Woolacombe beaches, all within minutes from Croyde, regularly win awards for cleanliness and safety and are manned by lifeguards throughout the summer months. Picturesque Croyde Village, populated by cob walled, thatched cottages. If you want local entertainment, there are three popular pubs in Croyde village, all of which serve good food, within walking distance of the house. In nearby Georgeham, the newly opened Lower House Restaurant provides an excellent, tried alternative to the scope of local places to eat.,
How to get there
Leave M5 at J27 on A361 to Barnstaple. Continue through Barnstaple on B361 to Braunton. In Braunton, turn left at traffic lights to Croyde. In Croyde centre, past The Thatch and Billy Budds pubs turn left up Jones Hill,. After 100 meters, turn right onto Myrtle Farm View. No 9 is at the top on the left.
