BRAUNTON GRANARY COTTAGE benefits from a village location only a short gentle walk from the heart of Braunton, enabling guests to take advantage of a selection of pubs and restaurants offering a choice of different styles of cuisine. Reputedly one of the largest villages in England it is situated only 2 miles away from the golden sands
of Saunton Beach, whilst the renowned blue-flag surfing beaches of Croyde and Woolacombe are also within easy reach.

GRANARY COTTAGE offers guests accommodation in style and comfort. The space inside is light and airy, with rooms that flow seamlessly from one area to another. Looking around, your senses are spoilt, whether it is the well-appointed kitchen, authentic wood flooring, views over Braunton or sumptuous double bedrooms, you cannot help but enjoy the tactile warmth.

LIVING AREAS
There is a large lounge with real wood flooring, comfortable sofa, with seating for 6
and large double doors out to the patio and terraced garden. A real sun trap, this is
the perfect space for entertaining and also comes with TV, Freeview and
DVD/CD facilities, as well as a useful ipod docking station.

Through a large archway, the dining room flows from the lounge and has a large
wooden table with seating for 6. Country cottage features abound and there is also an
office area with desk and chairs.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is spacious and flooded with light. The light coloured kitchen units exude
a modern feel and are complemented perfectly by the solid wood floor and light wood
work surfaces. As you would expect, the kitchen is equipped to a high standard,
appliances include an electric oven, grill and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher,
washing machine and microwave.

BEDROOMS
Bedroom 1: Large double bed with light-welcoming windows, cupboard space and full
length mirror.
Bedroom 2: Offers flexibility with zip and link beds, this twin room can be made up as a double on request. There is chest of drawer storage and character features.
Bedroom 3: Cosy space with bunk beds.

BATHROOM
Family bathroom with bath, shower-over, basin and WC

The garden runs in an L-shape along the side and back of the house. Beautifully manicured, the garden has 2 terraced levels, each with their own theme and charm, with views over Braunton to the Burrows and sand dunes beyond. There is outdoor seating, table, parasol, deck chairs and a long patio running along the length of the lounge. Perfect for al-fresco dining.

The Croyde / Braunton area

WALK TO - Braunton and surrounds is a great place for days out with family and friends. Many local restaurants and pubs offer a superb variety of food and entertainment such as Squires (great fish and chips), At One (Tapas Evenings), The George Pub (great local food as well as Thai Cuisine) and The Williams Arms (well
renowned Sunday roasts). Entertainment facilities are available for all ages.

CYCLE TO - cyclists can enjoy the 30-mile Tarka Trail tracking the scenic coastline of North Devon.

DRIVE TO - the beaches of Saunton, Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacombe are only a short drive away (note to pet owners: Saunton, Putsborough and Woolacombe have demarcated pet-friendly areas for your dog). A day at historic Braunton Burrows is great for walkers. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, The Milky Way and The Big Sheep all within a short driving distance.

For the more adventurous, kite surfing, surfing, horse riding and kayaking are popular sports in the area. Cultural days can be passed at Arlington Court, historic Clovelly Village, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth and many more. Saunton Golf Course is a mere 3 miles down the road with its 2 famous links courses. Finally, picturesque walks through beautiful forested areas and running rivers such as at Watersmeet will
complete your wonderful stay in the beautiful part of England.
