CROYDE STONESTHROW OVERVIEW

STONESTHROW is a lovely detached holiday home recently renovated very stylishly to the highest standard. Occupying a commanding position this home offers some of the best views looking over the dunes to Croyde Bay and is conveniently located close to Croyde village and its many amenities.

This exceptional house has been tastefully decorated and offers ideal holiday accommodation for extended families or a couple of families holidaying together. The modern yet timeless soothing grey undertones create a truly tranquil and serene setting. STONESTHROW has been thoughtfully fitted with high quality furnishing, fittings and finishings for that all important holiday retreat. Sleeping up to 9, a spacious 3 bedroom house with a separate downstairs double bedroom (double sofa bed) annex attached to the main house with its own luxurious walk-in ensuite wet-room. There is a kitchen/diner, utility area, large lounge with wood-burner, master en-suite bedroom, double bedroom, bunk-bedroom with single bed, double bedroom with wet-room and a luxurious and beautifully appointed family bathroom. The spacious well-kept garden is fully enclosed and provides plenty of space for play, relaxation with parking for 2/3 cars on the driveway at the front of the property.

STONESTHROW is essentially a 4-bedroom house where you will feel completely at home. The attention to detail is second to none from the moment you walk in the door is undeniably apparent - a truly high quality and beautifully presented house equipped with all you require for a "home from home” experience.

LIVING AREAS

This is a large double-aspect lounge with one window overlooking the secluded garden and the front window overlooking the front elevation with panoramic views across the dunes to Croyde Bay. The modern yet timeless soothing grey undertones create a truly tranquil and serene setting and extend within the lounge area also. Ample seating is available within the lounge, a large flat-screen TV, bookcase, games, together with the high quality furnishings all adding to the charm of this property as well as a beautiful wood-burning fireplace for the cooler evenings.

KITCHEN

Kitchen: The high specification modern contemporary kitchen has all the conveniences you would expect, the layout is tastefully finished with white high gloss kitchen units complimented with black granite worktops. Integrated appliances include a Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Combi Microwave and Lamona stainless steel electric fan oven and 4-ring hob. A selection of other facilities include a Kettle, Toaster and Coffee Grinder. Cutlery & Crockery (including children's) is supplied with a plentiful supply of pots, pans and glassware. This superb space means that one need not be excluded from the holiday atmosphere.

Dining area: The dining area, opening off the kitchen, with a solid oak dining bench easily accommodating 8+, perfect for social gatherings.

Utility Room: Off the kitchen, is a useful utility room with washing machine and tumble drier, complete with an additional stainless steel sink and drainer.

BEDROOMS

This lovely property has 4 bedrooms; 3 on the first floor and 1 on the ground floor (annex): All the bedrooms are decorated throughout the same with soothing grey undertones perfectly compliments the white bedroom furniture, darker grey carpet and high quality finishings.

A wonderful spacious room with en-suite containing a large double bed, 2 x bedside cabinets with bedside lights, a 5-drawer chest of drawers in white and a large white wardrobe. This is a single aspect room with a large window overlooking the views across the dunes to Croyde Bay.

Bedroom 4: (Double Sofa-Bedroom with en-suite wet-room). At the rear of the property STONESTHROW benefits from a separate downstairs double bedroom (double sofa bed) annex attached to the main house with its own luxurious walk-in ensuite wet-room.

STONESTHROW is full of luxury with 1 en-suite bathroom, a family bathroom and ground floor en-suite wet room. Each of the bathrooms are high specification with touch sensitive shower control and have chrome-effect finishes for a modern look in classic white.

Croyde

Croyde Bay is renowned as a premier surfing beach destination in England for short and long boards. For the more adventurous, kite surfing, volley ball, kayaking and horse riding is on your doorstep. Within walking distance of Croyde beach enjoy its ice cream shop, gourmet restaurants, superb village pubs, surf shops, and art gallery. This classic 'chocolate-box' village is steeped in old-world charm and echoes the feeling of life in Britain in times gone by. Coastal and Countryside walks include the majestic Croyde cliff path to Baggy Point, (and for those energetic), to Woolacombe and beyond.

CYCLE TO - A day at historic Braunton Burrows is great. Cyclists can enjoy the 30-mile Tarka Trail tracking the scenic coastline of North Devon.

DRIVE TO – explore the beautiful Exmoor National Park. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, The Milky Way and The Big Sheep all within a short driving distance. Cultural days can be passed at Arlington Court, historic Clovelly Village, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth, Victorian-styled Ilfracombe with its quaint fishing harbour and many more. Saunton Golf Course is a mere 3 miles down the road with its 2 famous links courses. Finally, picturesque walks through beautiful forested areas and running rivers such as at Watersmeet will complete your wonderful stay in this beautiful part of England.
