GEORGEHAM HILLS HAVEN OVERVIEW

This holiday home is a quaint bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac in the tranquil country village of Georgeham. Just a short walk away is the local store and fantastic local pubs. The village of Georgeham is perfectly situated, surrounded by beautiful countryside and stunning sandy beaches. Croyde Bay, a famous surf spot, is just a 5 minute drive away, and Putsborough and Woolacombe are just a few miles further. HILLS HAVEN is modern, with 2 bedrooms, and a sleeper-sofa, sleeping 6 people in total. A perfect place

for families, friends or couples to stay.

Whether you want to enjoy the beaches of Croyde, Putsborough or Woolacombe or the surrounding stunning countryside, this is your ideal base.

LIVING AREAS

Step through the front door into the entrance hall, and straight ahead of you is the lounge, separated into two areas. The first area contains a very comfortable leather and corduroy sofa, with matching armchair, and plenty of soft cushions. Sit back and watch the flat-screen TV with DVD player, and a selection of DVDs. This room has a coastal theme, with a pebble lamp and coastal photos. Walk through the TV area into another living space which contains a leather settee, which folds out into a double bed, allowing the property to sleep 6. This is a convenient informal 3rd bedroom, or a great place to relax with a book, or play one of the board games provided. On the walls hang impressive panoramic photographs. Double sliding doors open onto the patio area of the garden.

Outside, accessed via the garden, there is a pool room with pool table, great for kids and adults alike.

KITCHEN

From the entrance hall turn left into the spacious kitchen, with white cupboard units and wood laminate flooring. Appliances provided include a tall Beko fridge, separate freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven, grill, hob, 4-slice toaster, kettle and cafetiere, as well as essential kitchen utensils and tea towels. An iron, ironing board, and clothes airer are stored in one corner. There is a pine dining table to the rear of the kitchen with 4 white wooden chairs.

BEDROOMS

From the entrance hall turn right, and the first door on your left opens into a twin bedroom, containing two low-set modern single beds and decorated in blue and autumn shades. Bedside tables have 3 drawers each and a wardrobe, with full length mirror, provides storage for clothing and luggage. Underfoot is thick cream carpet and a large window brightens up the room and overlooks the beautiful garden.

Carry on down the corridor to the master bedroom, which has a carpeted corridor, with an en-suite bathroom on the right hand side. Continue under an archway into the bedroom, with a king-size wooden bed, bedside tables, and an elegant black and white theme. Mirrored built in wardrobes provide plenty of storage space and along with the large window give this room a bright and airy feel. The second lounge area can be used as an informal third bedroom.

BATHROOMS

The family bathroom contains a bath and shower overhead, a large horizontal mirror with a sink and WC beneath. The master bedroom has an en suite, with large shower enclosure, sink, WC and large mirror above a vanity bench which has built in drawers.

OUTDOORS

The garden can be accessed from the side of the house or from the second lounge area via sliding glass. There is a patio area, which turns into a lawn, with stepping stones, that wraps around the rear of the property. This is a well developed, private garden with established flowerbeds and a useful washing line for drying clothes in summer. A peaceful spot for children to play or for you to work on that sun tan. There is private parking for 1 car in front of the garage, and space for another car on the street in front of the property.

Croyde

WALK TO - Georgeham village with excellent local pubs and village store. For walkers there is the fantastic South West Coast Path just a few minutes away.

CYCLE TO - Braunton village, Croyde Beach, Putsborough Beach. Croyde is a magical place nestling around a stream running down to the sea. This award-winning sandy beach is fine and flat, ideal for children and good for surfing. With Rock pools are in abundance and dunes a haven for young and intrepid explorers. Local fun parks for the children such as Cascades Pool Park are a great way to spend the day. Croyde Bay is renowned as a premier surfing beach destination in England for short and long boards. For the more adventurous, kite surfing, volley ball, kayaking and horse riding is on your doorstep. Within walking distance of Croyde beach enjoy its ice cream shop, gourmet restaurants, superb village pubs, surf shops, and art gallery. This classic 'chocolate-box' village is steeped in old-world charm and echoes the feeling of life in Britain in times gone by. Coastal and Countryside walks include the majestic Croyde cliff path to Baggy Point, (and for those energetic), to Woolacombe and beyond. A day at historic Braunton Burrows is great. Cyclists can enjoy the 30-mile Tarka Trail tracking the scenic coastline of North Devon.

DRIVE TO - Saunton, Woolacombe, Barnstaple, North Devon towns and villages. Explore the beautiful Exmoor National Park. Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, The Milky Way and The Big Sheep all within a short driving distance. Cultural days can be passed at Arlington Court, historic Clovelly Village, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth, Victorian-styled Ilfracombe with its quaint fishing harbour and many more. Saunton Golf Course is a mere 3 miles down the road with its 2 famous links courses.
