Home description
Inglenook Cottage is a warm, welcoming home with a pretty stream running past the front of the house. Situated close to the centre of the village and within walking distance of the popular surfing beach, Inglenook makes an ideal base to explore the beautiful countryside and walks, some of which start from just outside the house.
This cottage is recently refurbished to an unusually high standard, and is exceptionally well-equipped with facilities including playstation, a range of children's and family videos, a well stocked library, a selection of board games and a full range of kitchen equipment.
The ideal location for a summer holiday, and the log fire and lovely kitchen make it perfect for a cosy winter break too.

The West Country / Devon region
Encompassing Exmoor National Park and the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve at Braunton Burrows, rugged cliff top walks around Baggy Point and miles of majestic sweeping sandy beaches, the North Devon region is famous for its outstanding natural beauty. The beaches of Croyde, Saunton, Putsborough and Woolacombe have world class surf, with dunes, caves and rock pools for the young and less energetic.
Saunton boasts an 18 hole championship golf course, while Watermouth Castle, the Big Sheep and Milky Way theme parks, Exmoor Zoo and the quirky Dinosaur Park at Combe Martin will keep the kids amused. Croyde also has an indoor funpool with slides near the beach.
Croyde area
The Tarka Trail forms part of the South West Coast path and is great for cycling and runs along the river with pubs along the way. Horse riding is popular in Croyde, whilst sea fishing is the mainstay at Ilfracombe.
There are some excellent places to eat nearby, from Thai to fish and chips (not to mention cream teas and the unmissable local ice cream shop).
Barnstaple is the nearest town which has a large 24 hour supermarket, cinema and theatre.
How to get there
Take junction 27 off the M5 motorway to Barnstaple. Go through Barnstaple following signs for Braunton where you turn left for Croyde and Saunton.
On entering Croyde, go past the Thatch pub and follow the road around to the right past Brook Stores. Continue until you see The Manor House Inn on your left.
Inglenook Cottage is directly opposite this pub. You can park outside the house to unload your car, and then please park in the lane alongside the pub carpark.
