Surrounded by its own gardens and then farmland, the location is a haven for peace and tranquillity. The area is world renowned for its fishing. Many other attractions include golf, heritage sites and hillwalking. For those wanting to stay closer to home there is a lakeside beach only minutes' walk from the cottage.

In addition to the local golf course there are others at Belmullet (20 miles) and Enniscrone (18 miles). There are also two equestrian centres in Knockmore (10 miles - telephone 096 58175 ) and Ballina (12 miles - telephone 096 45084). There is a fishing lake very near to the property - within 1/2 mile - Lough Conn offers trout fishing with boats and gullies available to hire. Sea fishing and daily boat trips leave from Killala bay (Sun seeker Boat Trips - 087 244 6902) and river fishing trips are available from Crossmolina and Ballina.

Access to the beach is dependant on the weather as it is a walk through fields.

"the cottage was exellent"

the cottage was lovely,the little things like,leaving milk,bread,buiscuits etc was a very nice touch.it was nice and clean and very comfortable.would recomend this cottage to anyone.… More
