Visit Mizen Vision Centre at Ireland's most southerly point. An award winning Maritime Museum and Heritage Attraction, this authentic all-weather experience is a must-see with its spectacular location on high cliffs with swirling Atlantic Ocean tides. From the Car park and Visitor Centre, the Signal Station is a ten minute walk along the path, down the 99 steps and across the Arched Bridge, the Mizen is famous for its wildflowers and sightings of wildlife, dolphins, whales, seals, gannets, kittiwakes, choughs – the bird migration north-south flight path is just a mile off shore. Crookhaven (1.5 miles) is a very picturesque and pretty fishing village with three piers, three pubs/bars serving local seafood, a sailing club where sailing courses are available, grocery shop, craft shop and restaurant. There is live music in the village most summer nights and it is possible to buy fresh lobster, fish and Crab from the local fishermen. In the winter months the village is very quiet and peaceful but there is always a warm open fire and welcome in O'Sullivans bar.
This stunning property is located just 1.5 miles from the pretty fishing village of Crookhaven with its three piers, sailing club craft shops and seafood bar/restauran m. This holiday home boasts a spacious lounge with a wood burning stove, free Wi-Fi and magnificent sea views of Fastnet Rock, Cockle Beach and Barley Cove. The sailing club, golf club and horseriding center is based in Skull 12 miles whilst Mizen Vision centre is home to an award winning Maritime museum. Scenic trips and hillwalking excursions are organised on the Beara and Sheeps Head Peninsulas.

"Misleading in what should have been in the cottage and not very tidy"
