Built for an Indian Prince in 1901 this Historic Edwardian Residence was once frequented by King Edward VII, testament to this can be seen in the stunning communal entrance hall where the Royal Crest is depicted in stained glass. Located in the heart of Cromer's conservation area on Cliff Avenue arguably the best road in Cromer the property was sympathetically restored and converted into Six Luxury Apartments in 2008 and is now known as Tudor Villas.

Ideally situated with just a short walk to the blue flag sandy beach and town Tudor Villas is a perfect location for a short break or family holiday. The inclusive on site parking is also a huge plus for our guests.

This is a second floor Apartment with Sea Views. The accommodation is new, stylish and modern with quality fittings such as the 'touch control' hob and LCD TV not to mention the granite work surfaces and shower bath. The delights of Cromer are all a few minutes walk away so enjoy a latte or a cream tea at the beach cafe and watch the fishing boats set sail for Cromer crabs. On foot take in the art galleries, life boat museum and the magnificent church, enjoy the many coastal walks or use the car to explore the delightful surrounding areas. Ideally located for golfing fanatics with the Royal Cromer Golf course nearby.

The East Anglia / Norfolk region

Norfolk, and in particular North Norfolk, is one of the UK's top tourist destinations. It boasts fine sandy beaches, beautiful countryside and is a haven for wildlife with the area being particularly famous for seeing rare birds. The Queen's Sandringham residence is nearby and it is said that she can often be seen walking her beloved corgis on Holkham's fantastic sandy beach.

The regional capital city of Norwich is easily accessible where it's shops and castle can be explored. A boat trip on the Norfolk broads or a boat ride to see the seals are equally enjoyable. Wells, Cley and Blakeney are also fabulous places to visit with Holt being a shoppers paradise.


Cromer area

Cromer is a lovely Victorian seaside town with a long and unique history. It has recently featured (June 2008) in the top 10 coastal resorts of the UK in many publications including The Times and Daily Express. Praised for it's 'blue flag' sandy beaches, proudly boasting a thriving pier end theatre and renowned for it's speciality crabs the town is well established as the 'Gem of the North Norfolk Coast'.

Cromer is Postcard pretty with cliff-top gardens, splendid golf course ,a boating lake, promenades, pristine sand and deliciously sweet crabs to catch and eat.

You can enjoy a traditional seaside break with a stroll down the pier, a walk on the beach followed by the modern twist of a latte in the new modern glass fronted cafe on the beach. Looking for . New local attractions for 2008 include the Cromer Zoo where visitors can see the towns latest residents including pumas, snakes, piranha fish and flamingos.

Golf and tennis are both catered for in Cromer with the Royal Cromer Golf Club and the Cromer Tennis facilities.

Cromer has a Carnival each year which has events starting from early August, the carnival is very popular and is usually opened by the Red Arrows display team. New Year sees a spectacular firework display over thesea. Carnival week for 2009 is August 15th to 21st Cromer is buzzing during Carnival week. The colourful parade through the town is on the 19th August and the fabulous fireworks are on the 21st.

The first two weeks of August are children's weeks where a host of activities and events are organised by the town. Full details about the Carnival can be found in the Cromer Carnival website.

In the centre of the town is a majestic church with a very high tower which is possible to climb at certain times of the day the view is fantastic. Next to the church is the Cromer museum where the history of Cromer can be viewed including a reference to Tudor House, now known as Tudor Villas, famous for it's first owners Royal links.

The small streets provide delightful local shops specialising in fresh sea food, fine fish and chips, art galleries and many individual gift shops. The high street has a good variety of shops and a supermarket is close by ensuring that everything for your stay can be found within easy reach.

Cromer's famous pier still houses a theatre providing all year round entertainment, it's an experience not to be missed. After an evening performance you will see the cliffs lit up by the towns twinkling lights as you walk back ensuring your evening is memorable.


How to get there

Flybee have regular flights from many destinations in the UK to Norwich Airport, approx 45 minute drive to Cromer.

With better road access, Norfolk is now only a one and a half hour drive from London.
