Brigg Cottage is situated on the edge of the award-winning Gunton Park Estate. "Lovely cottage, beautiful gardens, great location"
Travelled across from Munich, Germany for the week in Norfolk. The cottage was perfect - modern, clean and very comfortable. Peaceful! My kids loved the garden, as did my Mother. We were surprised by how much there is to do in the immediate area, especially with the coast being so close. We definately plan on returning again soon.

"Lovely cottage, peaceful surroundings"
We had a great time at Brigg Cottage, it was very well set up with lovely furnishings, peaceful surroundings (countryside all around, great views and sunsets, calm and quiet) and a nice garden to enjoy breakfast. The accommodation has been tastefully renovated throughout and comfortable.

"A little gem"
We had a lovely week at Brigg cottage. The house is spacious, light and airy, but also cosy, tastefully decorated with a warm country feel. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfy beds. The outside space is amazing, it even has a football pitch! Lovely country walks and short drive to the coast. The owners were very pleasant and accomadating, we had a very brief power cut on christmas day (only lasted about 40 mins, it was back on by the time the rest of the house were up), but the owners said we could cook our Christmas dinner in their kitchen if we needed too. We would love to go back in the summer months to make the most of the garden.
We're so pleased that you had a nice holiday in Norfolk and that you liked Brigg Cottage so much. The Christmas day powercut was certainly unfortunate timing, but as you say, power was thankfully restored quite quickly! We hope to we can welcome you back one day. Kind regards, Hannah and James

"High quality, lovely setting and close to a number of beaches, walks & Pubs."
There was plenty of room, the accommodation was warm and finished to a high standard. Nice to have some outside space and plenty of walks/visits nearby. No road noise or other annoyances to be mindful of. The owners were very helpful with lots of information and clear directions. Definitely recommended and would happily revisit.
Thank you so much for these kind comments. We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay. As well as the general review of the cottage, I really appreciate you taking the time to give specific feedback about the kitchen as we're always looking for ways to improve. After seeing your review, I'm pleased to say that we invested in some 'Which? Best Buy' saucepans and knives for Brigg Cottage as well as some other kitchen additions and upgrades so we hope that the kitchen now has everything you could need. Thank you again and best wishes, Hannah and James

"Fabulous cottage in North Norfolk"
This is our second stay in Buck Brigg Cottage in two summers. We love the location: right in the middle of countryside yet it's a short drive to Waitrose/farm shops/village pubs/Cromer and other beaches. The cottage is beautifully converted from former barn to a very high standard and very comfortable to stay. However it's the hospitality from the owners Hanna & James what makes this truly brilliant cottage - they even provided us with eggs laid by resident hens. Highly recommended.
That's very kind! It's always a pleasure to be able to offer our guests suggestions about places to visit, but a particular pleasure in this case as you were so keen to get to know the local area. You even visited the straw museum around the corner and came back with plenty of tales to tell, which we all enjoyed hearing! We hope to see you again this year. Best wishes, Hannah and James

"Beautiful spot and a fantastic cottage. Such a lovely place."
Me, my husband and our three-year-old daughter stayed at Brigg cottage over Christmas last year and it was fantastic. The cottage is so nice, well thought out, has everything you need and is really confortable. The location is beautiful, a real find in North Norfolk as it feels remote but still has good access to the main road and all the stuff you would want to visit nearby. It really is a special place and has everything you could want for a lovely family holiday. We have also visited Brigg cottage in the summer with extended family and all the kids were in heaven just playing in the meadow and generally running around in lots of open space. Perfect.
It's a real pleasure to have some 'regulars' at Brigg Cottage already, even though we haven't been open for that long. We're delighted that it has become a real 'home from home' for you and your daughter. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

We had a wonderful stay in Brigg Cottage with our 2 children (aged 2 &4) and the girls Grandma. The house was very well equipped with all that we needed and in a lovely, peaceful, rural setting. The owners are lovely and so accommodating. I was concerned about my youngest falling out of bed as she has a toddler bed at home. Hannah went out and bought a bed guard ready for our arrival which was not expected but a very nice touch. There were a number of toys and books for the girls to explore and even childrens cutlery which was so welcomed. We found the house to be in a great location for exploring the countryside/seaside and will definitely be returning.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It's lovely to hear that the cottage worked so well for you, the children and Grandma alike! We were only too pleased to supply the bed guard as we know what it's like when travelling with small children. With this addition we hope that the house now comes with all the key items to bring peace of mind and hopefully some peaceful moments for the grown ups to relax (high chair, stair gate, travel cot, blackout blinds, children's kitchenware, children's books, dvds and toys etc)! We hope to welcome you back to Brigg Cottage soon. Hannah and James

"we want to move in"
A thoughtfully done up and equipped large property that feels more like a home than a holiday let, stunningly set amongst fields and woods, with a large own garden. Great for young children, with no traffic aound, lots of toys (indoors and out), chickens, and enough beds and bedrooms. Great for adults, with deckchairs, a generously kitted out kitchen, and top-notch pubs nearby. The seaside with some breathtaking beaches is within easy reach, and the house is large enough to accommodate for rainy days. And then of course - fresh eggs from the chickens!
This is music to our ears! We really want Brigg Cottage to feel like a home from home. We're delighted you found that there was enough room to relax/play inside on a rainy day and that there was everything needed to prepare a proper home-cooked meal when you choose to. We look forward to seeing you all again soon. Hannah and James

The cottage is in a lovely peaceful position yet near to beaches, historic houses, boating on the broads and several quaint towns to explore. The building is well equipped and clean and comfortable . The downstairs wet room was very useful. The kitchen table was in a lovely sunny position at breakfast time. The gardens are very well maintained with plenty of room for children to play safely while adults relax.
Thank you for your kind comments. You certainly made the most of Brigg Cottage's location - between the coast and the Norfolk Broads and just a stone's throw from some fantastic National Trust properties (Blickling and Felbrigg). We're especially pleased that you liked the gardens and found time to relax there at the end of the day. We hope you will return soon. Hannah and James

"Beautiful house in a beautiful location."
We stayed here last summer and had a lovely time. The house is large and clean with all amenities available. It is located well for many activities in Norfolk with the beach at Cromer being a short drive away. The kids loved it here which made for a fabulous holiday all round. We will be returning :)
We're delighted that your holiday in Brigg Cottage worked so well for all the family. We look forward to welcoming you back soon! Best wishes, Hannah and James
