House | 4 bedrooms | sleeps 8
A very comfortable and well equipped property which overlooks one of the best beaches in North Norfolk. Cliff Top Holidays offers Shoal Cottage, a cosy holiday cottage which sleeps up to 8 in Overstrand, near Cromer.
The cottage is very spacious with all the home comforts that you would expect. There are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor and I ensuite bedroom on the ground floor, which has proved itself to be suitable for those with limited mobility..however the property is not deemed to be disabled friendly due to the door widths.
There is space for 3 cars on the front driveway..which is a real bonus as parking spaces are very limited otherwise. Shoal Cottage is in an ideal location..just 50 yards away from the slipway to the beach. Overstrand is a very well served village with The Cliff Top Cafe next door ( 10 % off in the Cafe for the duration of your stay ). There is an excellent village shop, the White Horse pub, the Sea Marge Hotel, vets, The Royal Cromer Golf Course is also nearby. The East Anglia region
You will never be stuck for things to do in North Norfolk whether you just chill on our fabulous beaches or play golf, surfing, the steam engine railways, local markets, various maize mazes, swimming pools, tenpin bowling, Cromer Carnival week in August, local shops etc..the list is endless, and to help you get around the local coast hopper bus is ideal and economical too.
Overstrand really is like taking a step back in time, it's a great place to sit and let life wash over you if that's what you're looking for, a real Gem on the North Norfolk Coast.
Holkham beach is where the Queens guards bring their horses every year for their annual break and they can be seen swimming in the sea at certain times. It's also where the beach has been used many times for films. The Norfolk Broads are easily accessible too..a great day out.
