There is a train station in the village and therefore a car is not essential.

The East Anglia / Norfolk region

The Blue Flag sandy beach is one of the best regarded in the area and plays host to the one of the RNLI lifeboat stations. The local train station enables easy access to the local seaside resort of Sheringham and the city of Norwich. A day trip to the nearby Norfolk broads is highly recommended when visiting this area.
