I have stayed at Loch Monzievaird twice now, it is my favourite place in the world. If you're looking for a peaceful break away from everything, you need to stay here. Firstly the location is perfect with stunning views from your chalet. The cleanliness was outstanding, I sense slight OCD tendencies ha!!! No seriously was spotless and everything we needed. The sounding scenery is just amazing, we drove Loch Lomond and the drive there was beautiful, we even drove alongside lake katrine which was frozen, was amazing. Didn't want to come home.

“tranquil retreat”
This beautiful estate certainly lived up to our friends' recommendation. Our family spent a relaxing long weekend here and the service could not have been better. Staff were very helpful, cabin was spotless, in good order, well kitted out, with comfortable beds and the temperature was nice and warm (crucial in February) which could be boosted if necessary. The sauna was wonderful after daily walks. The estate was peaceful in lovely countryside and the wildlife was evident from our window. We were aware of people staying in nearby cabins but privacy was still maintained. We had good meals in Crieff at Delivino, Avanti, Orchard chinese take away and Ghurka (very slow service but good food). We also visited Crieff Hydro where the children enjoyed a swim (£5 each). Of particular appeal was the availability of short breaks at Monzievaird which means that without a doubt we will visit again. To offer a baby-sitting service and beauty treatments reveal the genuine thought that the owners have put in to making visitors' stays as relaxing as possible.
Response: Thank you so much for your lovely review. We will look forward to welcoming you back to Loch Monzievaird.

“Can't wait to go back again.”
One of our many return visits to Loch Monzievaird, no matter what time of year it's always stunning, particuarly in the Autumn. Excellent accommodation, we normally use the Pine Lodges which are very well equipped with new bathrooms and their own Sauna's which after a November walk are avery welcome feature. The grounds and Loch are very spacious, and there are many lovely walks close by. All the staff are always very welcoming, friendly and efficient and as for Irene in reception, nothing is too much trouble. Have already booked again for next summer. Wonderful.
We have stayed in several of the lodges over the years, starting in No 1, then to No 4 (Spruce), large family break in No 18 (Maple) and this year we have stayed in 22, 23 and 24 (Pine). We've just returned home from our third break this year at Loch Monzievaird, and we booked another three breaks for 2013 as we left. It is such a beautiful area, walking round the loch, or just sitting in the wonderful lodges admiring the view of the loch and wildlife. The lodges are very well equipped with all the cutlery, crockery, towels, bedding and cooking equipment you could ever want; TV (now flat screens); DVD player; large fridge-freezer. Our lodge had a sauna and dishwasher. The bathroom had underfloor heating and the bath was enormous. We go to Monzievaird in the colder months, Feb, April and November, but the lodges are very warm and cosy. The lodges are so well spaced that it is difficult to see any other lodges from some (such as no. 4 and 24). All you need to take is clothes, food/drink and some DVDs for a very enjoyable and relaxing break. You will be welcomed as if you were their most valuable and important customer.

“Lovely Location”
I was one guest of the party that occupied number 16. The site is excellent, quiet and very well maintained with lovely outlooks.
We booked on short notice and the owners couldn't have been more helpful, as it is hard to find a place to go where they will accept 2 large german shepherds! We travelled from Wiltshire which was about 500 miles away, and found it really nice that the owners called us on our way to make sure we could find it ok. The property we stayed in was lovely and secluded and really homely. The cabin was lovely and clean, i was really excited about the fact i had a dishwasher on my holiday and my husband was the same with the sauna! The Loch was right on our doorstep and the views were fantastic. We had fantastic weather and made use of the BBQ outside. We had already decided on day 2 of our stay that we would be returning and would like to stay longer. We would highly recommend staying here and can't wait to come back!!!
Response: Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay so much. We will look forward to welcoming you back to Loch Monzievaird.

“A peaceful and tranquil place...”
Loch Monzievaird Lodges are spotless, very comfortable and welcoming. The staff are friendly and warm , with any problem being dealt with efficiently and promptly. However, it is the natural beauty of the grounds and the Loch itself which makes this a special place. On, in and around the Loch is an abundance of wild-life...squirrels, deer, ducks, geese and much more. There are dozens of Rhododendron bushes, and if you look carefully, a very pretty Bluebell Wood. Take a camera, walking shoes, a good book and just enjoy.....
Response: Thank you so much for your lovely review. This morning there were seven cygnets at the head of the loch with Mum & Dad, ducking for morsels. I watched a trout leap out between them, which caused a brief panicky skittering. Last night a red kite was circling thermals.
Been to "Monzie" many times over the years and it just keeps getting better every time we go. Beautiful location and cabins so comfortable, dog loves it too. Can't wait to return.
Response: Thank you so much for your lovely review. We look forward to welcoming you back to this special place. Kind regards
