There's something magical about our cabins. From the outside, they're honest little woodland holiday homes. But step inside, and you'll be knocked out by the design.

The Cozy Cabin Plus has a woodburner and basket of logs practically shout “light me” – in the same way that the hide rug positively invites you to snuggle down and relax. The décor is bang-up-to-date, mixing and matching different handpicked pieces and unexpected touches. There's also a proper kitchen with cooker, fridge (with ice box) and dining table.

The Cozy Cabin Plus has plenty of space for up to five people over two bedrooms; one is a double and the other is a bunk room with a pull out bed.

Oh, and there's Wi-Fi in each too, along with a decidedly analogue chalkboard on the back of the front door.

With six hours of free childcare included every day, younger guests can find new friends and share adventures in our “Big Country” childcare facility, while parents enjoy some down-time. You'll enjoy a hearty Perthshire welcome, a world of on-site activities and have a friendly team dedicated to your needs (yes, we're here just for you).

If our cabins aren't quite right for you we also have five star self catering units available, sleeping from 2 to 18 people, all set within the Crieff Hydro estate. View our other adverts, call or visit our website to find out more. Our friendly team are on hand 08:00-09:00 to find the right cottage, lodge or chalet for you.

Further details indoors

Relax with family or friends in the comfortable surroundings of the open plan living and kitchen areas. You'll find all the equipment you need in the kitchen to whip up a culinary masterpiece, and we'll even have the essentials like tea bags, coffee and sugar ready in place for your arrival.

As well as a comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen, there's your own outdoor space to enjoy too.

Just a stone's throw away from the hotel and leisure facilities, you'll enjoy easy access to the hotel's swimming pools, tennis course and activity centre and estate. On a segway, in the saddle (bicycle, quad bike or horseback - you choose) or even simply on foot, there's a variety of ways you can explore the wild blue yonder of our 900 acres.

Further details outdoors

There's lots to do at Crieff Hydro. In fact, there are over 60 onsite activities to make your visit as energetic or as action-packed as you choose. Our 900 acre estate offers an adventure playground for adults and children alike. Turn the woodlands into a temporary warzone with Laser Quest; wade, climb and traverse your way through our off-roading assault course on a quad or in a 4x4; hop on one of the largest fleet of off-road segways in the entire country... “Great”, we hear you cry, “but what's a segway?”

A motion-guided personal transportation vehicle – and it's impossible to describe the rush of driving one. Simply nothing compares. And that's all the more reason to try it when you visit. Golf, horse-riding, shooting, driving and water activities – whatever your passion, there's an activity to suit.

But why stop there? Crieff Hydro is an excellent basecamp for hillwalking, game fishing or a host of family activities. Why not combine your trip with a safari adventure? Blair Drummond Safari Park is just 30 minutes away.

The Perth and Kinross region

Situated in the very heart of Scotland, Perthshire represents the perfect place to find all that you expect of a great Scottish holiday.

Most of Perthshire is little more than one hour by road or rail from Glasgow or Edinburgh, but a world apart.

Crieff

Crieff is actually the main town of Strathearn lying on the southern edge of the Scottish Highlands. It has been a beautiful holiday resort since Victorian times and is the second largest town in Perthshire with a population of almost 6000.

The town spills from the Knock, the wooded hill above, down to the River Earn. James Square with it's fountain marks the centre of the town.
