This is an ideal base for walking holidays, with National Park footpaths close by and easy access to the mountains, and for exploring the surrounding area. Blaenau Mawr is a working livestock farm. Livestock bred on the farm include pedigree limousin cattle, sheep and Welsh Mountain Ponies.
This is a truly delightful cottage to sit with an evening drink with its panoramic views up the hillside and over the valley to watch the sun go down.

.Crickhowell (population about 2000) is a thriving market town snuggling between the softly rounded Black Mountains and the dramatic Brecon Beacons, in arguably the most beautiful valley in the National Park.
