A very spacious cottage providing 5 STAR accommodation. Open all year and is ideal for family holidays or for a romantic get-away break to just chill out and relax.

For Christmas and New Year the cottage has a decorated tree, some traditional decorations in the lounge and a roaring open fire which gives the taste of country living - away from the madding crowds.

Guests are welcomed to walk the ajoining 200 acre farmland and there is fishing for brown trout and rough shooting available by prior arrangement.

The cottage has two double bedrooms, (one being en-suite with a spacious shower with body jets and its own private sauna (seating two to three persons) and a t.v; and the third is a twin bedded room. Main Bathroom has a large Whirlpool bath with an electric MIRA Shower over the bath.

The traditional beamed lounge has a patio door opening onto a paved patio area with BBQ. A truly wonderful kitchen with NEFF appliances (fridge.freezer, electric oven,hob and microwave, dishwasher, washer dryer) and granite worktops. A granite breakfast bar, ideal for two which makes breakfast a joy for couples.

Large hallway with tourist information and coat hanging area. The property has oil fired central heating and a multi-fuel stove in the lounge for the Winter months (only in use between November and March)

Parking for up to 4 cars. Private tarmaced drive and safe parking area. Large level grounds and garden. Good views of the Snowdonia Range Mountains and surrounding countryside. Lovely walks from the door and will join the Wales Coastal Path. Also you can join a local nearby cycle route from the cottage. In the field next to the cottage you'll see quiet sheep and in the summer lazy cows and baby calves grazing.

In the garden there's a bird table and a wealth of garden birds. Ideal for bird watching

From April to the end of October the accommodation is mainly for weekly lets (Saturday to Saturday)

Between earll November to late March short breaks are welcomed.

The North Wales region

The major part of North Wales is within the Snowdonia National Park which is an area of outstanding natural beauty with mount Snowdon (3,560 ft / 1,085m) being the highest peak in England & Wales. In North Wales, especially in Gwynedd and Snowdonia you'll find numerous medieval castles and historic houses to explore.

Visit Bodnant Gardens, Glyn Weddw Art Gallery or unique narrow-gauge railways with stunning views from high in the mountains or along scenic lakes - a trip you won't soon forget.

Delve deep into the slate or copper mining past of the area and explore the winding tunnels and colouful chambers hiding a world of myths and legends for you to uncover.

Explore parts of Wales Coastal Path and take in the fresh clean air and the magnificent views. The area has so much to see and to do.


Criccieth is a popular, unspoilt little town. The town has won several floral competitions such as WALES IN BLOOM and is a clean and pleasant town with its award winning Blue Flag beach, castle, interesting unique shops, excellent restaurants, golf course and tennis court.

Near the castle you'll find the Cadwalader's Ice Cream Parlour which is world famous for its prize winning home-made ices.

Criccieth provides everything for the visitor.

"Another perfect week in Criccieth at rhos ween"

We have been staying here for severaol years and it has never been less than tremendous.A perfect idyllic location,complete with cows, sheep and lovely walks!
The cottage is spacious and luxurious and perfectly situated for an utterly relaxing break whilst also giving easy access to the lovely seaside town of Criccieth.
Foodies are spoilt for choice-highly recommended are Poachers and Tir a mor-both in town.Also good is the Goat Inn-just up the road.Handy for easy day trips to Caernarfon,Portmeirion,Harlech...
Anwen,the owner is lovely ; tremendously helpful and very friendly too.
We cannot recommend the cottage highly enough!
