Guestbook for Portnellan
My wife and I visited Portnellan over New Year, for a well-deserved break. We were very impressed with Portnellan and specifically the great length that Cameron and Elaine both went to, to ensure that we had a great time while visiting.
The lodge (Pinemarten) was great, and had great views. Everything was clean, tidy and in-order. Despite being winter, the lodge was warm and cosy, and Sky TV was a nice touch to the end of a day walking through the local routes and vertically up Ben More!
New Year was truly good fun, and we enjoyed watching the antics of Cameron and friends, while attempting to light a bonfire and due to strong rain and wind, being defeated!
Long story short, go to Portnellan you won’t regret the decision, we really enjoyed the experience.
Thank you Cameron and Elaine!
Enjoy!
"This is our second years holiday on the Portnellan Estate and even more enjoyable than the first. The weather has been outstanding all week with glimpses of Roe and Red deer just below the lodge have contributed to a fantastic holiday in this location. Our supply of bird seed and peanuts has only lasted the week but we did not spot the wood pecker this year. Many thanks to Cameron and the team for excellent accommodation and on going hard work in keeping the estate to a high standard. We will miss the peace and quiet and long to return soon." Judith and Peter Spicer, West Midlands
"Thank you for your kindness to us. Beautiful place, wonderful location". Best Regards Maria and Thomas
"Cameron. We think you should pay a visit to all the holiday cottage owners from Dumfries to Westerross and show them how to run a holiday business."
"We've enjoyed a perfect stay in a beautiful glen. The memories of feeling at home in a lovely place are fine treasures to keep. Thank you for your hospitality and kind assistance." Maryke, Tom, Mieke and Mart
Our third visit and as always a lovely holiday. Excellent lodge and even rain did not spoil things. Thanks Cameron. See you again. (our family have visited here and stayed at the lodges eight times so must be good) Alan and Muriel Davis Perth Western Australia
This was one of the most eventful holidays we had. So much to see, so much to do...Thank you Cameron for your good advices and for the perfect lodge. We will surely recommend you to all our friends. Family v. Beers, Tilburg, Holland
Another wonderful time here in Portnellan. Weather beautiful and Pinemarten is the best lodge we've stayed in yet. The views were wonderful. Roll on our 6th visit. Paula, Dave, Simon and Katie. Durham.
Portnellan. Another word for "Perfection"
