The kitchen has a large table which can seat 8 people and plenty of cupboard space.
The living room is spacious with two large sofas and two chairs. The television has Freeview and a DVD player. There are plenty of games, jigsaws, books and DVDs for rainy days, as well as a table football game which converts into table tennis, pool and table hockey.
The multifuel stove takes wood and coal, and provides a comforting atmosphere in which to relax on a chilly evening, or toast marshmallows for the fun of it. There will be a supply of wood and coal in the cottage on your arrival. It is also good fun to collect driftwood from the beach where sea coal can also be found.
There is also under floor heating to the cottage.
The large double bedroom has a king size bed with a view to the Pele tower. There is plenty of storage space in this room.
The second bedroom has a single and a double bed. There is a TV which can plays DVD's with a wide selection of both for adults and children. There is a sea view from this window from which can be seen the 7 mile expanse of Druridge Bay and the lighthouse on Coquet Island.

"Lovely, homely, with all the mod cons needed for an idyllic stay"
We thought this cottage was excellent, we stayed over the late bank holiday week and had a wonderful time. The beach is brilliant, it was a shame that the weather was not a bit warmer but we still managed to enjoy it. There is so much to do in the area we could just couldn't fit it all in. The accommodation is very spacious and very comfortable. It would be really nit-picking to find fault, the only criticism I found was that there was no dressing table at which to sit and dry your hair and as I say it is a petty comment really and only really noticed by me as I have a bad back. The views were wonderful. We had a fabulous holiday and would highly recommend it.

What a great place for a weekend away. Wish it could have been longer. Good spot to explore from, but good to come back to such a lovely cottage too.
