Villa Olivier is a modern, light and airy villa situated in the foot hills of the Cevennes mountains. It is beautifully equipped to ensure that you enjoy every minute of your holiday. This detached property has a private pool and is situated on the edge of a medieval village (with a small shop) 20kms west of Nimes. It is a perfect location for a hiking or biking holiday.

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Gard region
The area surrounding Nimes is the sunniest in France - winters are very short in Gard. The foothills are peaceful and perfect for walking and biking holidays. By contrast the historic towns in the area are lively and full of French culture. The Gard has much to offer and there is something for everyone.
Crespian area
Some guests have said that once they have settled in to the villa they have difficulty leaving as it is so peaceful and is equipped with everything you need to enjoy an relaxing holiday in the sun. With a small shop, organic bakery and bar/restaurant close by it is easy to find yourself not wanting to venture far. Of course you will have to go out to stock up on the delicious food and wine the region is famous for and it would be a shame to miss a trip to Avignon, Uzes, the Pont du Gard and the Mediterranean coast which are all within easy reach. An added bonus is that in winter you can ski on Mont Aigoual which is 75mins away.
How to get there
Perfectly located it is less than 45mins from Montpellier airport and 30 mins from Nimes which are both served by Ryanair. Car hire available through most of the major car hire companies - pick up cars at airport. Eurostar runs to Avignon (1 hour away) on Saturdays only. It is also easily reached by auto route

Further details indoors: The villa is simply but comfortably furnished in Scandinavian style. For those who like to cook the kitchen is equipped with a full range of appliances, pots and pans, cooking utensils and china - there's even a smoothie maker and recipe book to go with it! The bedrooms both have double beds. The duvets and pillows are of good quality and all the bed linen is cotton. In the lounge there is an open fire which is perfect for those chilly winter evenings.
Further details outdoors: The property is positioned just outside a village, with a large, completely unoverlooked garden that has gorgeous views out onto the surrounding hills. There is ample secure parking for up to three cars. Completely set up for outdoor living there is a barbeque, various outside tables and chairs, sun loungers and umbrellas for more shade should you need it. There is also a private pool. In the garden we have many fruit trees so please feel free to help yourself to the cherries, apricots, strawberries and grapes should you be lucky enough to be there when they are in season.
