About the home

This unique waterfront villa, completely newly renovated, is something really special and unforgettable: it is right on the shore of the lake! A beautiful garden surrounds the property granting privacy to its guests. From the entire villa, terraces, balcony and garden you can admire a wide panorama with stunning views of the lake and the mountains. The house is very quiet and the lake provides absolute serenity, but it is possible to find more life just walking to the main beach of the village, where the locals, the tourists and the windsurfers meet. Cremia and the Northern part of Lake Como in general, is known worldwide as one of the best spots for sailing, windsurfing and kitesurfing. A local wind from South comes every day in the early afternoon and assures fun for the sail lovers...and a fresh breeze in hot days! In the village, within walking distance from the house, there are a couple of restaurants-pizzerias and coffe bars. Private parking space for 2 cars. Free Wi-Fi.
The famous Golf Club of Menaggio is only 10 minutes drive away.
The 3 bedrooms, the wide living area and the large outside spaces make the villa ideal for families or group of friends.

At the ground floor you find the entrance of the house, a toilette with also laundry facilities, the kitchen and the big living area facing the lake with large windows allowing the guests to enjoy the beautiful panorama while sitting on the sofa or having breakfast inside. There is a satellite TV system with news/movies/sports in English or Italian, as well as DVD player.

On the first floor there are the 3 bedrooms: 2 with double beds with balcony facing the lake and one with 2 single beds. 2 full bathrooms are also located on this floor: one has a jacuzzi bath tub and one a large shower. Those bathrooms also include sink, toilette and bidet.

One travel cot is available for one child up to 2 year and a half (house actually sleeps 6 + 1 baby). Upon request we can also provide a highchair.

The villa is truly lakefront, so it is something really special and difficult to find. You will really live by the lake!
The property has 2 private parking lots. The large terraces host outdoor forniture, sunbeds and a BBQ.
The boat is an inflatable boat with oars.

A deposit of 40% of rental price is required to secure the booking.

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area region

Lake Como is located in an ideal area surrounded by protecting mountains which create a particularly mild climate and where southern and northern Europe meet and exchange culture. The founder of the second oldest Italian Golf Club (1906) in Menaggio was English and King Edward VIII chose the lake for his honeymoon. Winston Churchill often summered on the shores of the lake. In the sixties the German chancellor Adenauer elected Lake Como as his favourite place for holidays. To this day the area is still loved by entrepreneurs, businessmen, writers, fashion designers, sportsmen, actors and movie directors including George Lucas, George Clooney, Donatella Versace, Madonna and Sting...
This is all because Lake Como offers its beauty with discretion and elegance, without confusion and with a magical atmosphere that invites one to relax and meditate. For these characteristics alone it becomes more appreciated, by more people, every day.

The Cremia / San Vito area

Lake Como offers a lot to see and explore. Cremia is ideally located to visit both the central and south lake area, but also the northern part which has a lot to offer as well. Bellagio and Varenna, two beautiful and famous villages of the central lake area. Tremezzo with the botanical garden of Villa Carlotta, Lenno with the enchanting Villa Balbianello, the "Isola Comacina", the unique island of Lake Como, George Clooney's villa and Como itself. Going North, Dongo, with its lively market on Thursday and Gravedona with its castle and lake promenade and so on. Cremia is approximately 1 hr. 40 minutes from St. Moritz and 45 minutes from Lugano in Switzerland. Other Northern Italian cities of culture including Bergamo (2 hours), Verona (2.75 hours) and Venice (3.5 hours) can be managed as day trips. Superb shopping can be done in Como (50 minutes) or Milan (1.5 hours).
Local markets are hosted in different villages on different days. Summer evening market in Menaggio on Friday.

“Comfortable villa with incredible view” We had a fabulous week at the villa. It has an amazing view and it's very well equipped, the beds are very comfortable. A 5 minute stroll along the shore of the Lake takes you to two excellent restaurants. Although the villa is near the road there was no noise and it was actually very convenient for getting around to see the sights and do the watersports. I hope to return very soon! Deborah could not have been more helpful, she provided lots of information before we went and was very understanding when we were late arriving due to heavy traffic.
