An opportunity to stay in a unique apartment which occupies the entire top floor of the historic Craster Tower, a superbly preserved Grade 2* country house dating from the 15th century, built around a 14th century Pele Tower. The flat is furnished to the highest standard with stunning views on all sides, including the sea from a number of rooms.
The rooms are exceptionally spacious, retaining many of the original features including decorative coving, ornate stone and marble fireplaces and a fine Venetian chandelier suspended from the ceiling in the drawing room.The apartment has its own front door, giving access to a large garden area with garden furniture, barbecue and the use of a tennis court.
The flat has four bedrooms, a combination of singles and doubles, three bathrooms and a choice of two sitting rooms one formal and one with Freeview TV and DVD player, there is also Wi-Fi. The kitchen is huge with a table that seats 8, a range cooker and an American style fridge-freezer. For children there is a small TV area with beanbags and some games as well as table football on the landing.
We allow up to two well behaved dogs, the area is wonderful for dog walking with great coastal walks, plenty of beaches and golf courses.

The Northumberland region
There are numerous castles in the area, including Alnwick Castle, the original Hogwarts. We have miles and miles of sandy beaches, many of them fronted with link golf courses. We are close to the town of Alnwick which has numerous shops and cafes as well as Alnwick Castle Gardens and the famous Barter Books. There are lovely coastal walks and the area is a great place for bird watchers, with the Farne Islands only a short drive and boat ride away. The area has been used in a number of films, Alnwick Castle - Harry Potter, Black Adder, Robinhood Prince of Thieves, Lindisfarne - the Scarlett Pimpernel, Bamburgh beach - Elizabeth the Golden Age.
