Home description
Dukes Farm is a working farm which offers 3 converted barns which together can sleep 15 people. The larger barns are situated side by side and the one bedroom barn is across the courtyard. The larger of the two barns has a dining table to seat 15 people so everyone can eat together in comfort.
The barns are decorated in a rustic style with lots of open beams and high ceilings and have bags of character and unbeatable views over Cats Back and the Black Mountains. The larger barn has a ground floor bedroom with en-suite wet room so it is ideal for any party members who find stairs difficult.
Please note one of the double bedrooms in the largest barn does not have a doorway, there is a curtain.

The Heart of England / Peak District / Herefordshire region
The barns are decorated in a rustic style with lots of open beams and high ceilings and have bags of character and unbeatable views over the Black Mountains.
The towns of Hereford, Monmouth, Abergavenny, Brecon, Ross and Hay-on-Wye are all less than one hour away.
Crasswall area
The Black Mountains stretch south between Herefordshire and Wales like the fingers of a long hand. The rolling meadows of the Golden Valley lie to the east, and wilder territory west. The historic Marches towns of Brecon, Hay, Monmouth, Ledbury, Hereford and Ross-on-Wye lie within 25 miles. The area is famous for its unspoilt churches and early domestic architecture – black and white houses, cruck barns, and charming villages. Herefordshire can boast more castles than any other county, too – testimony to the Normans’ border skirmishes with Wales. Nowadays, the area is lively with rural revival – every local town has a Farmers’ Market, and the Hay Festival is justly renowned worldwide. Open gardens, open farms, art festivals and local food outlets abound, yet the landscape of orchards, streams and winding lanes remains unchanged.
