The Orchard is a four bedroom detached house in the centre of Crantock Village.

The Orchard has four spacious and light bedrooms. Two have ensuite bath or shower rooms. These two bedrooms have super-king beds that can be also be arranged as single beds. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor. The Orchard is ideal for a large multi generational family, two families sharing or just good friends!

There is a fabulous living space comprising of dining room, kitchen and conservatory all to one side of the house. The beautifully appointed kitchen has everything you need to make your holiday ideal. The spacious Conservatory comes complete with a table tennis table and a selection of games alongside a spacious seating area.

There is a comfortable sitting room with wall mounted TV, plenty of seating complete with a log burner.

There is a huge garden to the rear with paved patio, grassy area and a raised seating deck ideal for catching the sunset over Newquay and Crantock Bay.

On the paved patio you will find a barbeque, garden table and chairs for 8 and a hot tub.

Larger parties of up to 11 people, can be accommodated by staying in both The Orchard and within the same curtilage, The Barn.

All of this and you are only a five minute walk from Crantock's beautiful sandy beach.

Electricty included, oil is metered and charged at cost at the end of your stay.

3. CHANGE OVER DATE

The start date and end date of holidays (change over day) is fixed and cannot be changed. Short breaks can start on a different day but must start and end within the booking week. Please note we do not start holidays at any other date than the displayed start date.

4. REDUCED OCCUPANCY DISCOUNTS

From September to May cottages are charged at a base rate for the minimum number of guests as stated in the pricing tab. Additional guests may be added as shown in the pricing tab. Not available during Christmas, New Year and February Half Term.

5. SHORT BREAK DISCOUNTS

Short Breaks of 4 nights or less are between November and Easter, excluding school holidays, at a discount of 10% off the full week price. Not available during Christmas, New Year and February Half Term. Please note: we do not offer short break discounts at other times.

6. DOGS

In cottages where dogs are allowed, they are charged at £40 each. A refundable occupancy deposit may be payable on arrival to the Property Manager. We do not allow more than 2 dogs in any of our properties.

7. MINIMUM AGE

At least half of your party must be over 23 to book one of our cottages.

Cornwall is full of places to feed your soul and put colour in your cheeks. Whatever the weather, a bracing walk along the cliffs or just simply watching the waves will make you feel better about life.

In these financially challenged times, re discover the simple pleasures of a day at the seaside.

It stays daylight longer in Cornwall than the rest of the country and the light by the coast is absolutely spectacular. The light has helped create a thriving artist's community. The County is oozing with creativity, there is a huge choice of art and craft galleries and shops, plenty of live music and of course, Truro's Hall for Cornwall which has some amazing shows, plays and performances.

Famous for its gardens, there is a huge selection to choose from. the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the National Trust's gardens at Trelissick and Trerice, Glendurgan and Trebah on the picturesque Helford River to name but a few.

We also have our fair share of attractions which are mostly open all year around to entertain our visitors. The World Famous Eden Project, Falmouth's National Maritime Museum, the Blue Reef Aquarium in Newquay and for some industrial heritage Geevor Tin Mine.

Oh and the food! We must not forget the humble pasty which can be enjoyed via many outlets. Also, don't go home without enjoying our fresh sea food and cream teas. There are cafes and restaurants to suit all budgets from beach cafes to Michelin Star Restaurants.

Crantock

Newquay enjoys an amazing position on the north coast and has a wonderful selection of beaches for you to visit during your stay.

Crantock, is situated at the end of the run of beaches on this stunning rugged slice of North Cornwall. Crantock still retains an endearing, old fashioned and unspoilt quality.

in the centre of the village and within a few minutes walk of all of our cottages is a well stocked shop and a couple of pubs.

Crantock's huge beach offers the opportunity for adults and children alike to blow away the cobwebs; children love to explore the dunes and the River Gannel at low tide. And you don't even have to take the car out to go to the beach.

For those keen to travel further afield, Crantock is very conveniently located for all of Cornwall's attractions. Newquay is only five miles away and a pretty drive, just a little further away is Padstow, made famous by Rick Stein. The Eden Project and St Ives are also about a 40 minute journey (although in opposite directions!) and make for a lovely day out.

Crantock's wide sandy beach is ideal for walkers, surfers, sand castle building, dune racing and it is even dog friendly.
