Cobb Barn sleeps 2 to 4 + cots for children under 2. Village location close to Crantock beach.

Cobb Barn is ideal for couples or young families. The garden is enclosed with hedging and a gate - making it ideal for young children to play in.

Grade II listed two bedroom barn conversion, in the centre of picturesque Crantock village on the north coast of Cornwall. The Barn sleeps four.

Cobb Barn is a Grade II listed barn conversion right in the centre of Crantock village. The barn has has a light, bright modern decor offering a homely, cottage feel. The open plan, tiled living area makes it a perfect summer cottage for families wanting to come back from the beach, jump straight in the shower and be able to keep mess to a minimum. However if a winter break is more what you are looking for, the log burner in the sitting area is perfect for curling up in front of adding a real ambience to the barn.

Complete with stylish, comfy sofas, oak dining table and chairs, and a really well equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher and washer/dryer.

For that extra touch of atmosphere and cosiness, there is a log burning stove in the sitting room. There is oil fired central heating to keep you warm on those winter evenings.

Short Breaks of 4 nights or less are between November and Easter, excluding school holidays, at a discount of 10% off the full week price. Not available during Christmas, New Year and February Half Term.

6. DOGS

In cottages where dogs are allowed, they are charged at £40 each. A refundable occupancy deposit may be payable on arrival to the Property Manager. We do not allow more than 2 dogs in any of our properties.

7. MINIMUM AGE

At least half of your party must be over 23 to book one of our cottages.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms which can be arranged in 3 ways. Bedroom 1 has a 5' (king sized) bed with an extremely comfortable divan bed. Bedroom 2 has two 3' beds (also extremely comfortable!) which can also be arranged as a 6' super king bed. This makes Cobb Barn ideal for two couples sharing. Both bedrooms have access to wardrobe space wardrobes and there is a a chest of drawers in each room along with bedside tables and lamps.

Electricity is included, hot water and central heating is provided by the oil fired boiler, oil is metered and payable at the end of your stay.

Cornwall is the all year destination for all the family. The quality of light in Cornwall is much brighter than in other parts of England, because we are surround by so much water. Come on holiday to our island! Buy a painting kit, or just bring her camera to capture the beautiful countryside and water views.

Crantock

Crantock is a picturesque village of historical note, on the North coast of Cornwall with one of the best beaches in the area. It has an ancient church, two pubs a tea rooms, an art gallery, gift shop and a village store.

It is only five miles from Newquay, but a world apart. It is popular with families in the summer and people who wish to surf, walk and enjoy all Cornwall has to offer all year round.

Crantock is the site of an altogether much older settlement - Langurroc, which means the 'dwelling of the monks'. The village gets it name from the Celtic Saint Caranog, who is also known as Carantoc. It is suggested that Crantock was founded by St.Carantacus in the 5th century, who was the son of a Welsh chieftain, and established his church. The present church is reputed to be built upon the same site.

"First of many stays to these properties"

We stayed at Cobb Barn in June 2007 (yes I know a long time ago) however at that time we were not on trip advisor. This was our first of four trips (so far) to the Cornwall Holiday Cottages. We were amazed the property was lovely, excellent standard of furniture and fittings, spotlessly clean and everything was there that you could possibly want. It was also our first visit to Crantock, how we have previously missed it I do not know. What a lovely village, with a post office cum general store, two pubs and a lovely little tea room that turns into a bistro at night.
