Two double bedroom well equipped and maintained cottage, with spectacular sea views from the sitting room and its patio.

From Guillemot, a 2 minute walk takes you directly onto the South West Coastal Path with fabulous headland walks.

The accommodation comprises a fully equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher) opening onto a sitting and dining area with TV/DVD and Hi-Fi system. There is one double bedroom (150cm/5' bed) and a twin bedroom (90cm/3' beds) with hand built oak furniture comprising of a wardrobe with shelves and hanging space, a dressing table and stool. The shower room has a powerful shower, basin and toilet.

There is LPG gas central heating to all rooms. Outside, there is a patio with a great sea view and private off road parking for 1 car.

Guillemot is all on one level.

The start date and end date of holidays (change over day) is fixed and cannot be changed. Short breaks can start on a different day but must start and end within the booking week. Please note we do not start holidays at any other date than the displayed start date.


From September to May cottages are charged at a base rate for the minimum number of guests as stated in the pricing tab. Additional guests may be added as shown in the pricing tab. Not available during Christmas, New Year and February Half Term.


Short Breaks of 4 nights or less are between November and Easter, excluding school holidays, at a discount of 10% off the full week price. Not available during Christmas, New Year and February Half Term. Please note: we do not offer short break discounts at other times.


In cottages where dogs are allowed, they are charged at £40 each. A refundable occupancy deposit may be payable on arrival to the Property Manager. We do not allow more than 2 dogs in any of our properties.


At least half of your party must be over 23 to book one of our cottages.

Seaspray is a single building comprising Cormorant (Holiday Letting number 1444683), Guillemot and Kittiwake(144687). They share parking spaces at front and rear and all share the wonderful views of Crantock Bay. Kittiwake is to the rear.

Five minutes walk away is Crantock's sandy beach which is suitable for families and surfers alike. A few minutes walk away is a pub. Crantock Village is five minutes drive, where there are two pubs, a Londis grocery store, Post Office, art gallery and the church of St Carantock.

Electricity is included, gas powered hot water and central heating is by meter payable at the end of your stay. There is outside storage (not locked) for Guillemot guests to store bikes, surf boards etc.

Whilst Guillemot is all on one level and suitable for guests with some restriction to their mobility, please note that this property is not suitable for wheelchair bounds guests (doors are standard sized) and there are no handles or grab rails in the shower or shower room.

Cornwall is an excellent place to eat and drink. It has everything from the local Cornish Pasty (available eveywhere!) through to award winning resturants, such as Rick Stein and Jamie Oliver.

The National Trust own many beaches, gardens and houses in Cornwall.


Crantock is a picturesque village of historical note, on the North coast of Cornwall with one of the best beaches in the area. It has an ancient church, two pubs a tea rooms, an art gallery, gift shop and a village store.

It is only five miles from Newquay, but a world apart. It is popular with families in the summer and people who wish to surf, walk and enjoy all Cornwall has to offer all year round.

Crantock is the site of an altogether much older settlement - Langurroc, which means the 'dwelling of the monks'. The village gets it name from the Celtic Saint Caranog, who is also known as Carantoc. It is suggested that Crantock was founded by St.Carantacus in the 5th century, who was the son of a Welsh chieftain, and established his church. The present church is reputed to be built upon the same site.

"Guillemot Cottage,Crantock - Fantastic Place"

Just had a wonderful week here.Took my Mother for her 90th birthday. Great for young and old alike also for touring local places, Newquay/Perranporth/Polly Joke all close by. Lovely coastal walks and wonderful scenery. The property is first class, absolutely spotlessly clean and homely. Just sank into the wonderfully comfortable beds.Great views of the sea. Nothing too much trouble.

We are very sorry out guests found Guillemot lacking, but pleased that they felt it was clean and comfortable.

Our ovens are stripped and cleaned every week. The guest did not report any problems to the Property Manager during their stay, as requested, and the oven worked correctly for the following guests. We are not too sure why the oven did not work during the guests stay.

The shower trap had become blocked, probably with sand from the beach. The trap was emptied during the following weekly clean and then did not flood. We could not find any rust on the towel rail.

We want all our guests to have a wonderful time and work very hard to provide great accommodation but unfortunately sometimes what we do falls short of guest's expectations. We are pleased this does not seem to be the norm and Guillemot with its wonderful views over the sea, 5 minutes walk to a sandy beach, modern design in one of Cornwall's best coastal locations, continues to be one of our most popular properties for 2 to 4 in the winter and in the summer.
