The Boardwalk is a, modern, open plan townhouse in the middle of the village ideal for a family who want to walk to the beach in under five minutes to enjoy the surf and sand. The excellent village shop is just across the road, and within a two minute walk you will find two pubs, the village tea room and a beach cafe. This house is perfect for either an extended family group or 2 families sharing – Sunnyside offers very good value. Dogs are welcome to stay at The Boardwalk.
A holiday at The Boardwalk:
Walk up from the beach and enter via the rear kitchen patio doors after a hectic day. The laminate flooring is ideal for families with sandy feet. The communal kitchen, living and dining area is level with the outdoor enclosed decked area – great for when mum and dad want a glass of wine, pre or post barbeque, the children can be in the living rom playing with the Wii or out on the enclosed decked area - all within eye and earshot. With bedrooms on the ground and second floors, and three bath or shower rooms, families can be sure of privacy and also, bedtime can be easier as smaller children can be separated!
There are, very importantly, comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms. All beds have hollow fibre duvets and pillows, and will be made up for your arrival with white Egyptian Cotton sheets and covers. Both the double bedrooms have a small flat screen TV. There is also a bath sheet and hand towel provided for each guest. The fourth bedroom on the second floor is suitable for children under 10 only. Sleeping here, is in a full size single bed with a single pull out underneath.
There are compact flat screen TV's in three of the bedrooms.
The Boardwalk is priced for 6 guests - the additional 2 children go free!
A great value, feel good, holiday house in beautiful Crantock.
Parties of up to 14 can be accommodated by staying at The Boardwalk and The Beach Hut - they are located next door to each other. Larger parties of up to 20 can be accommodated by booking The Dunes as well.

3. CHANGE OVER DATE
The start date and end date of holidays (change over day) is fixed and cannot be changed. Short breaks can start on a different day but must start and end within the booking week. Please note we do not start holidays at any other date than the displayed start date.
4. REDUCED OCCUPANCY DISCOUNTS
From September to May cottages are charged at a base rate for the minimum number of guests as stated in the pricing tab. Additional guests may be added as shown in the pricing tab. Not available during Christmas, New Year and February Half Term.
5. SHORT BREAK DISCOUNTS
Short Breaks of 4 nights or less are between November and Easter, excluding school holidays, at a discount of 10% off the full week price. Not available during Christmas, New Year and February Half Term. Please note: we do not offer short break discounts at other times.
In cottages where dogs are allowed, they are charged at £40 each. A refundable occupancy deposit may be payable on arrival to the Property Manager. We do not allow more than 2 dogs in any of our properties.
7. MINIMUM AGE
At least half of your party must be over 23 to book one of our cottages.

The Boardwalk is a modern three bedroom house on three floors in the centre of picturesque Crantock village on the north coast of Cornwall, with a smart but comfortable modern finish.
There are two bedrooms on the Ground floor and two Bedrooms on the Second floor.
The Boardwalk is ideal for two families or an extended family who wish to spend time on holiday together.
On the ground floor, Bedroom 1 has a double room with an ensuite shower, Bedroom 2, a pair of narrow single beds, set at right angles to each other and a full bathroom. The second floor has two bedrooms Bedroom 3 has a double bed and Bedroom 4 has a single bed with a pullout/roll under single bed. Bedroom 4 is suitable for children, rather than adults. There is also a full bathroom on this floor.
The living space is on the first or middle floor with a kitchen, dining and seating area. There is access off this floor to the decked garden which is on 2 levels, leading to an outside eating area and parking space.
The Boardwalk offers excellent value but good quality holiday accommodation in the middle of this fantastic, popular Cornish seaside village.

The owners are young, lively and energetic with 3 children who really love the outdoors. They are keen surfers and skateboarders - come rain or shine, they are busy doing something. If you stay here, you will find that the children have left a selection of toys (suitable for under 5s) as well as a selection of DVDs.
There may be an refundable occupancy deposit for guests staying with a dog of £50.

The National Trust own many beaches, gardens and houses in Cornwall.
Crantock is a picturesque village of historical note, on the North coast of Cornwall with one of the best beaches in the area. It has an ancient church, two pubs a tea rooms, an art gallery, gift shop and a village store.
It is only five miles from Newquay, but a world apart. It is popular with families in the summer and people who wish to surf, walk and enjoy all Cornwall has to offer all year round.
Crantock is the site of an altogether much older settlement - Langurroc, which means the 'dwelling of the monks'. The village gets it name from the Celtic Saint Caranog, who is also known as Carantoc. It is suggested that Crantock was founded by St.Carantacus in the 5th century, who was the son of a Welsh chieftain, and established his church. The present church is reputed to be built upon the same site.
Crantock and Polly Joke beaches
Crantock Beach is a great beach for families and surfers alike. It has a wide sandy beach with sand dunes between the beach and the village. At low tide you can walk along the beach to West Pentire.
Polly Joke beach is the next beach around the coast going west. It has been described as one of the best beaches in Cornwall. It has to be walked to, making it less busy than other beaches in Summer.
Pubs and Eating
Crantock has two pubs, the Cornishman and The Old Albion Inn, which are a short walk from the properties in Crantock Village. The Bowgie Inn, in West Pentire, is a short walk from Cormorant, Guillemot and Kittiwake. In Cubert, 2 miles from Crantock, the Smugglers Den, has a reputation for good food and wine.

Newquay, Shopping and a Big Supermarket
There is a large Safeway supermarket about 5 minutes drive out of the village towards Newquay. Crantock is about 5 miles south of Newquay, which in the summer is a bustling holiday resort with shops, many clubs and pubs. There is a regular bus service to Newquay and taxis can be booked.
In Crantock there is a village store that provides many of a holiday makers essential needs.
Many of our guests use online supermarkets to order their shopping before they leave.
