Cowes is an interesting yachtsmans town with plenty going on both on the water and off. There are attractions such as Queen Victoria's Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle close at hand. There are many yacht racing events - the Round the Island Race with over 1,500 entries is a spectacular sight in June and Cowes is also famous for Cowes Week and the Powerboat festival. There are many first rate cafes, bars and shops in Cowes - (there are particularly good clothes and shoe shops) and there are excellent transport links to Southamptons West Quay shopping centre and Portsmouths Gunwharf Quays centre.

“perfect place to stay”
We stayed here during Bestival and it was perfect for us, quick and easy to get there from ferry terminal and to and from Bestival site every day. parking was all arranged by owner. the apartment was spotless and well stocked, even had milk, cereal for us.
