Went with a large group of friends to celebrate a birthday. Very good for walking (to the New Inn in Shalfleet). Though a slight shame that parts of the coastal path were closed due to erosion you can't blame the house! Fantastic facilities in spotless condition and back garden with barbecue and plenty of outdoor seating. Plenty of space inside for a group of 10 during a brief bit of rain. Near 2 medium sized supermarkets and good restaurants and pubs.
Thanks again for a great weekend. Would recommend!

"Smart, comfortable and conveniently close to Cowes centre"
This property was more spacious than I had anticipated, having viewed it on-line. The house was really lovely with, attractive, modern soft furnishings and plenty of excellent equipment in the kitchen. We didn't cook in the house, except for breakfast, but could so easily have done so. I was amazed to find a TV in every room. I didn't think I would care, but in the mornings it was lovely to listen to or watch the news in the privacy of the bedroom! It's just a couple of minutes walk in to the centre of Cowes and we had an excellent meal at The Coast bar and restaurant - a fun, lively place. Couldn't fault the Yachtsman at all. It had everything we wanted. If the weather had been just a little warmer we could have had drinks and meals in the decked garden which is quite a sun-trap. The house itself was easy to keep warm. I have no complaints at all. A really lovely place with a friendly welcome from the owner.

"Excellent accomodation with everything you could need"
We really enjoyed our stay. The house has been refurbished to a very high standard and had everything we could want right down to the wifi. The snug has a very homely feel and opens onto the kitchen meaning the cook doesn't become isolated.
Beware the spooky figure in the converted air raid shelter!!
"Henrietta", a cardboard cut-out figure lives in the Air Raid Shelter, guarding the bins!
