This is a Victorian Fishing Cottage in West Cowes on the Isle of Wight. The cottage is on a quiet street, unfortunately there isn't any parking out side, but there is plenty around in the other streets. To walk into the town would take you around five minutes , and that's if you walk really slowly.

Cowes high street is pedestrians only through the day and has mainly cafes, restaurants and small independent shops.

To get to the nearest beach would take no more than ten minutes walking. Cowes tends to be busy at the weekend when people come over for the day. However once you on the Isle of Wight you can enjoy breathtaking scenery and fantastic walks. Or settle down and relax in one of the many local pubs, quay side bars or restaurants.

This is a charming 2 bedroom Victorian cottage within easy walking distance to Sheppard's Wharf marina, only a few minutes walk from the town center. It has a good size double bedroom with a king size bed, and one spacious twin bedroom , which can be made up to a superkingsize if needed. There is a recently fitted downstairs toilet and shower with heated floor and mirror.

There is a fully fitted modern kitchen/dining room with washing machine and tumble dryer and everything else you would expect to find in a kitchen. There is a comfortable sitting room with log burner, Sky TV HD with Movies and Sport included, DVD and free Wifi internet.

Outside there is a patio, leading up to a deck which is south facing and sunny, there is a BBQ and garden furniture.

Parking is free surrounding the house, and between 6pm and 8am the local car park is free to use.

The price include, electricity, water, gas, central heating and bedding. Please note that the stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep and that you will need to bring your own towels.

Cowes is separated by the River Medina and linked by a chain ferry. East and West Cowes are the Isle of Wight's most northerly towns are steeped in maritime heritage.

Famed for its sailing events, yachtsmen from across the world make Cowes their Mecca. But it remains a small town with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The pedestrianised high street is full of interesting boutiques, art galleries and shops with a nautical theme.

East Cowes town has its own small shopping center, lively marina and seafront promenade. It is also home to Queen Victoria's magnificent Osborne House.

Frequent buses run between Cowes and Newport, for connections to all parts of the Island. A chain ferry links Cowes with East Cowes.

Cowes has many Sailing regattas held through out the year, in this cottage your not more than 2 minutes from the center of the town. The Isle of Wight has many other things to offer. The Isle of Wight festival which is only a 15 minutes taxi ride away. Bestival which would take about 20 minutes to get to. But also the Garlic and Chilli festival. As well as Osborne House and Carisbrook Castle.

"A lovely terrace cottage near the centre of Cowes"

A very comfy cottage with a very well spec'ed out kitchen and lovely shower-wash room.
Full SkyTV and wireless broadband access.
The landlords communication was very clear, concise and timely.
