This is a Victorian Fishing Cottage in West Cowes on the Isle of Wight. The cottage is on a quiet street, unfortunately there isn't any parking out side, but there is plenty around in the other streets. However once you on the Isle of Wight you can enjoy breathtaking scenery and fantastic walks. Or settle down and relax in one of the many local pubs, quay side bars or restaurants.

This is a charming 2 bedroom Victorian cottage within easy walking distance to Sheppard's Wharf marina, only a few minutes walk from the town center. And for those who wish to escape the modern world, I'm sure you'll leave the Island having found exactly what you were looking for.

When you step on the ferry there is a sense of chilling out. For a stress free, fun family holiday the Island is popular all year round. And for those who like a physical challenge, if it's an adventure holiday you are after then look no further. With over half the Island designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a network of footpaths that stretches over 500 miles it's easy to get close to nature. Alternatively, if you are looking for somewhere to be spoilt then indulge yourself in the Isle of Wight's fine restaurants, art galleries and historic houses.

Cowes is separated by the River Medina and linked by a chain ferry. East and West Cowes are the Isle of Wight's most northerly towns are steeped in maritime heritage.

Famed for its sailing events, yachtsmen from across the world make Cowes their Mecca. But it remains a small town with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The pedestrianised high street is full of interesting boutiques, art galleries and shops with a nautical theme.

East Cowes town has its own small shopping center, lively marina and seafront promenade. It is also home to Queen Victoria's magnificent Osborne House.

Frequent buses run between Cowes and Newport, for connections to all parts of the Island. A chain ferry links Cowes with East Cowes.

Cowes has many Sailing regattas held through out the year, in this cottage your not more than 2 minutes from the center of the town. The Isle of Wight has many other things to offer. The Isle of Wight festival which is only a 15 minutes taxi ride away. Bestival which would take about 20 minutes to get to. But also the Garlic and Chilli festival. As well as Osborne House and Carisbrook Castle.
