This modern gated apartment block is entered via video entry phone and the private parking space is accessed through electrically operated gates. Marinus is the only apartment block found in West Cowes with direct access to the River Medina and Shepherds Wharf moorings.
From the large sitting/dining room and private terrace there are stunning views of the River Medina and the Solent offering ever changing views of life on the water.
The modern designer kitchen is fully equipped for all occasions and the dining room table in the dining area will comfortably seat six. There is also a small DVD and book library for guests to use.
Several evenings a week huge cruise ships such as P & O's The Queen Mary II and Cunard's Arcadia and Oriana to name just three can be seen sailing silently past the apartment as they sail on to their glamorous destinations.
10 Marinus makes a perfect base for exploring the Island, and with just a short stroll into Cowes Town Centre with its numerous bars and restaurants offers great entertainment for all ages and tastes.

The apartment is immaculately furnished. The sitting room benefits from an electric flame fire for those cooler evenings, with stripped wood flooring and modern blinds to the full sized patio doors and windows.
The modern designer kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, built in microwave and washer/dryer. The kitchen also houses a comprehensive range of luxurious crockery, glassware, cutlery and all manner of kitchen utensils.
From the sitting room there are sliding patio doors leading onto the private terrace with iron garden furniture and gas fired barbecue with stunning sea views.

The apartment will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure unless previously arranged otherwise.
The Isle of Wight region
Cowes Town Centre, just a few minutes stroll away offers a great variety of shopping to suit everyone, along with numerous bars and restaurants. The Beach is in easy reach and the esplanade offers wonderful sea views along its length to Gunard.
The Isle of Wight offers visitors so many attractions from visiting the wonderful Osbourne House, once home to
Queen Victoria, to walking along miles of cliff paths, beaches and woodland.
A boat taxi trip up the river to the Folly Inn is a must on a sunny day. The Seaview Wildlife Centre offers a great day out for animal lovers, and there is a minature village in Godshill with the Donkey Sanctuary just down the road.
There are also numerous regattas to enjoy, amongst them being the World famous Cowes Week, Little Britain and The Round the Island Race.

"Relaxing, spacious apartment in a lovely location"
10 Marinus is a charming, well equipped, clean and very comfortable apartment very close to Cowes High Street. Situated in a complex of apartments next to one of Cowes' marinas, it is a great location for those who like to watch the comings and goings on the Solent. We particularly enjoyed seeing the passenger liners and container ships go by. Cowes High street is only a few minutes walk from the apartment, with its bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. It is a easy to wander to the sea front at Cowes and further on towards Gurnard. East Cowes is also a stones throw away across the floating bridge and you are very close to the ferry terminal. The apartment is nicely funished with comfortable beds and two lovely bathrooms. We found the wifi very useful. It was a lovely location in which you could relax after a day sightseeing on this beautiful island! Booking this apartment with the owner was very straightforward and communication was courteous, helpful and friendly. My wife and I would have no hesitation in staying at this apartment again in the future or recommending it to others.

"Superb apartment in the most wonderful, convenient location!"
This has been my fourth stay in this fabulous apartment! It is beautifully clean and comfortable. Very spacious and so quiet. The location is just perfect for the Ferry and Chain Ferry and it is just a very short walk into the centre of Cowes. It has everything you could need for your holiday, whether you are using it as a base for touring around the Island or if you want to spend some time relaxing in the apartment. Perfect!

"Fantastic location with 5* Accommodation"
Beautiful views of Cowes harbour and its passing yachts and craft, five minute walk into the centre with shops and restaurants, cycle paths, walking and sailing galore.. Accommodation is to a high standard, clean and homely for the whole family, it was just like being at home... Cowes is definitely a chill zone !

"High quality accommodation in a great location"
A really nice apartment in a central location in Cowes for all the restaurants and eateries. It also makes a central base to explore the rest of the Island with nowhere being more than a maximum of 15 miles away.

"Great apartment in superb location for all of IOW amenities."
Well equipped, even wet day was not an issue. Easy walk into East and West Cowes for shops/restaurants/ bars. Would go again and hence recommend.

"Lovely accomodation fantastic holiday"
The appartment when we arrived exceeded our expectations. it was spotlessly clean and there was everything we could have possibly needed. We had difficulty working out how to work the hot water, but the maintanence man came straight away. The view from the apartment was wonderful and although we didn't use the barbeque it would be lovely to have one over looking the boats. Every detail was catered for, there was nothing we would have changed. I went with my mum who is 84 so having a patio entrance was reallyuseful due to her poor mobility and the lovely town of Cowes is very near by. Thank you so much and we will definately use this again and recommend it.

"Great apartment on a great location"
Booking service was excellent. The owner provided lots of useful information tailored to our interests and also provided a discount voucher for the ferry. Large comfortable property with all the amenities you could need for a holiday. We didn't cook but a modern fully equipped kitchen. Large comfortable sofas with a great view from the lounge over the water. Location is ideal. Minutes from the ferry, quiet area. Cowes itself has some interesting shops and scenic walks. As the island is relatively small also not far from all of the tourist activities the Isle of Wight has to offer would definitely return.

"Fabulous spacious apartment in a great location"
Fabulously spacious, clean and modern apartment. Lived up to its expectations. Comfy beds and duvets, large en suite shower, large bathroom, everything you need at your fingertips. We honestly couldn't ask for any better. Felt so homely. We enjoyed watching the ferry come and go and keeping an eye for the cruise liners. Set on the edge of a marina it was so peaceful and yet only minutes (at few at most) from Cowes High street filled with shops, bars and restaurants. The personal service and advise provided by the owner Sue was very well received. We would very highly recommend this for Your stay on the Isle of Wight.

"Really fabulous place to stay"
We have just returned from a stay at this apartment and wanted to say how great our time there was. We travelled round the island but always looked forward to getting back! There are many superb restaurants and pubs around the island. Also, we walked from the apartment to Newport along the river Medina, (stopping at The Bargemans Rest!) and walking back along the other side (stopping at The Folly!) The apartment is modern, spacious, comfortable, with great views and car parking right outside. The fact we really want to go back there says it all!

"A really lovely spacious,modern apartment."
We spent a fabulous week in 10 Marinus. The apartment is beautifully clean and furnished well with everything you could possibly need. There are great views from the kitchen and lounge areas across the harbour to the mainland. In our time there we saw many cruise liners sailing past from Southampton. This really is a five star apartment which we would recommend to anybody! We will definitely be back ourselves.
