About the home
Cosy and well presented three bedroomed house near to the river in West Cowes. Situated on a quiet residential street with on-street parking. Pretty garden with outside seating and BBQ area. Ideally located for water taxi services up and down the river.
Cowes and East Cowes formed out of a huddle of fishermen's shacks around two coastal forts built by Henry VIII on opposing banks of the River Medina that are named after the two off-shore sandbanks or cows. The towns are linked by an old-fashioned chain ferry and have a tradition of fine ship building, dating back to the reign of Elizabeth I.
