House | 4 bedrooms | sleeps 10
A great deal of thought has gone into making this one of the most comfortable and lavish houses in Cowes, with an extremely comfortable and spacious open plan living area on the first floor providing plenty of room for a large family with the possibility of entertaining in style, with the use of the roof terrace which has spectacular views across the Solent and surrounding area. Situated in the old town area of Cowes, 'Kirribilli' is within easy walking distance of the Royal yacht clubs, town centre and marinas. If you are interested in sailing or you simply want a great family house from which to venture out across the island, you could not want for a better property from which to do it.

The Isle of Wight region
Famous for its superb beaches, dramatic coastlines and outstanding natural beauty, the Island is a holiday haven with something for everyone. From secluded coves and wide expanses of sandy beaches it’s not just the stunning landscapes that attract visitors to the Island, but the variety of things to see and do. Rich in a wide variety of sporting and leisure activities, visitors return year after year to enjoy another holiday with Home from Home Holidays. Self-catering is the most popular option because it is both cost effective and offers flexibility with the freedom to come and go as you please.
Separated by the River Medina and linked by a chain ferry, the Isle of Wight's most northerly towns of Cowes and East Cowes are steeped in maritime heritage.
Famed for its sailing events, yachtsmen from across the world make Cowes their Mecca. But it remains a small town with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The pedestrianised high street is full of interesting boutiques, art galleries and shops with a nautical theme.
East Cowes town has its own small shopping centre, lively marina and seafront promenade. It is also home to Queen Victoria's magnificent Osborne House.
Getting around: Frequent buses run between Cowes and Newport, for connections to all parts of the Island. A chain ferry links Cowes with East Cowes.

"picture misleading - basement apartment poor condition"
It took us over an hour to find the property entrance despite being in the correct road and to find the key holder - both of these were not in the correct road and were difficult to find - they are actually located in the basement of the adjacent road behind a landrover car! the front door is actually in this road too.
The photos are misleading.
The property itself had no dvd player despite being in the advert and the remote being there and a dvd on the shelf and the tv channels constantly jumped and had no signal.
The property was very very sparse
The walls had picture hooks everywhere but no pictures?
If you study my photos enclosed you will see the flat had alot of damage and we were very disappointed.
There were cracks absolutely everywhere.
the sink had a huge gap down the left hand side of the woodwork.
There was a scrap piece of metal in the bathroom next to the toilet.
The shower never got hot - it just about got tepid - even with the temperature limiter turned off - i think the cartridge needs replacing.
the letting company didn't do anything when i complained and it took two months to get a complaint to the owners and then they just asked what were we after????
****WE HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH TRIPADVISOR REGARDING THIS REVIEW AS THIS IS FOR THE WRONG PROPERTY, THIS PROPERTY IS A 5* HOUSE NOT AN APARTMENT.****

"A wonderful house"
Enjoyed a great week in this wonderful house. The design, attention to detail, location, and lay out all lent themselves to a thoroughly refreshing and relaxing break. I especially liked the open plan design and roof terrace which allowed friends/ family to interact, eat and drink together. Will certainly be back I hope.
Thank you for your lovely comments we are very pleased you enjoyed your stay and we hope to deal with you again!
