About the home

Enjoy a wonderful holiday in this beautiful, spacious 4 bedroom Victorian villa, in the heart of Cowes. Ideal for sailing crew, girls weekend, or a family holiday. A few minutes walk from the marina, Red Jet, shopping and all the facilities of Cowes town.

The house has 4 bedrooms, I king-size with en-suite shower room, I double and 2 twins. Family bathroom. Downstairs there is a large living room with High Definition TV and DVD player. Dining room, fully fitted, modern kitchen and separate WC.

There is a pretty landscaped garden with patio and raised terrace area with seating and BBQ. There is off road car parking for up to 3 cars.

The large attic room for sitting and relaxing has double doors leading onto a roof terrace, with views across the Solent and Northwood park.

Booking deposit required of £100, this also acts as a damage deposit and is returned on departure.

The house would make a great getaway for a 'Girls weekend break' as a car is not necessary and Cowes offers all you need in the way of fashion shopping and restaurant facilities.

The Isle of wight is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing holiday, with plenty to entertain adults and kids alike. It is a beautiful island with stunning scenery and views and some great attractions.

Take the kids to Compton Bay or Sandown for a day on the beach, take in the Dinosaur museum too! Enjoy a day at Osborne house, Queen Victoria's spectacular holiday home. Or for the energetic, try cycling or walking on the island.

The Cowes area

Cowes is best known as the world's premier yachting centre. With cowes week being its major attraction. There is lots to do and see in Cowes.

Take a walk through the lively Victorian town with its narrow high street and browse in the many and varied shops.

Enjoy a meal in one of the towns pubs or restaurants and arrive at the seafront and beach to watch the fun on the waves. Play a game of tennis or putting in Northwood Park, or a game of golf at Cowes golf course.

Red Funnel ferries operate between Southampton and East Cowes. The fast service, Red Jet for passengers only goes to West Cowes.

“A lovely family house in a great location would recommend” A lovely family house in great location near the town, pubs and of course the sea. The house was great for all in our party which included children, and was clean tidy and welcoming for us all. The 2nd floor balcony area was fabulous with stunning views to sit and relax in. Communication with the owner was excellent and very prompt with any questions that were asked. I would recommend to friends and family and would definitely stay again when next visiting the island.

“Excellent in every sense, can't wait to return!” A stunning house over 3 levels. There were 7 in our party, 4 adults, 2 teenagers and a younger child and we were so surprised and pleased with how much space there was. A very well equipped house for everything you would need. 4 beautifully decorated rooms, large kitchen, dining room, lounge and garden with bbq but best of all was the 3rd floor - a haven for the adults in our party! Each morning, we'd start our day with a cup of tea on the terrace and we'd spend the first part of most evenings enjoying a glass of wine here too enjoying the stunning views over the sea (whilst the children enjoyed the garden or the downstairs tele!) The house is in a brilliant location - a few minutes walk to a Co-op and just a few minutes walk to a very good town with good shops and lovely bars. I found this house by chance by using Holiday Lettings and will definitely be returning.

“Relaxing, peaceful and fun” We had a very relaxing few days. The house was clean, the beds were very comfortable and all our needs were catered for. We especially enjoyed our evening drinks on the roof terrace. The tourist information supplied was very useful and I would thoroughly recommend a stay at Northbrook.
