This spacious first floor Apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, a beautiful, fully fitted kitchen equipped for all your holiday needs. Separate utility area housing the washing machine, lovely modern, comfortable living area with 2 large sofas, large TV, DVD a selection of films, Radio, Tape and CD player. 5 piece bathroom suite. The Apartment also boasts two good size sun patio's which are lovely to lazy on and catch the sun throughout the day and then to sit and enjoy a bottle of wine and watch the sun go down at night.
It is ideal for singles, families or couples and a great base from which to explore the Island.

The Lanzarote region

With our cold winters, temperatures reaching below zero, Lanzarote in the winter months is a lovely place to be. In the summer temperatures on the Island, can reach up to 90 degrees plus with sunshine from early morning to evening, but being a small Island there is always a light breeze which makes these temperatures comfortable and gives you ample time to enjoy the lovely beaches and attractions that the Island has to offer.

Lanzarote lies of the African coast. Only a 4 hour flight from the UK. It is a distinctive Island made by volcanic erruptions. To us this has made it a unique and beautiful place.

The Capital is Arrecife and has some great shops, restaurants and coffee shops that can be found through the cobble maze of streets. Puerto del Carmen is the most popular tourist area, with a long strip of shops, bars, nightclubs and restaurants. Great for evening entertainment.

A sample of attractions that you may want to visit on the Island include a Water Park, great for all the family, shutes, pools and many other activities, or just to lie and enjoy the sun! Sunbeds and lockers available to hire. Open form 10:00am to 18:00pm. Another exciting way to discover the Island is a Jeep Safari, which takes you through the parts of the Island away from the usual tourist paths. Brilliant fun.

If you are looking for something more relaxing, visit the attractions on the Island discovered or made by Cesar Manrique, who took a role in shaping and developing the Island, such as the Cactus Gardens and Jameos Del Agua Caves, made from the volcanic erruptions and water which left undergound caves and lagoons. These are now used as a restaurant, concert hall and even a nightclub!! A must to visit, is the Timinfayu National Park. Here you can tour on a special bus around the main valcano on the Island. MoonRaker was filmed here and you will see why!! Also here is a cafe overlooking the whole of the Island so you can enjoy the view whilst relaxing with a drink and snack. You will see a guide pour water into a hole in the ground and the water shoot high up in the air showing you how hot it is below. Down from this but still in the National Park, you can ride part way up the slope of a valcano on a camel. Great fun.

Why not visit another Island while on holiday! From Playa Blanca you can get a ferry over to Fuerteventura for the day. This Island is quieter than Lanzarote but has some fantastic beaches which are long and white and hardly used.

Another essential stop on your holiday is the Teguise Market which is held early on a Sunday morning. The whole of the Island meets here and you can find some great bargins, but be prepared to haggle!!

There is so much to see and do on the Island. The beaches of Costa Teguise and Puerto del Carmen are great for beach activities such as diving, water sking, banana rides and plenty of subeds to hire. There are also some lovely secluded coves and beaches around the Island to explore and spend the day in the sun and sea relatively on your own.

Costa Teguise / El Palmeral area

Costa Teguise is one of the more popular resorts on the Island. It is only a 15 mile drive from the Airport. Its regarded as one of the more exclusive parts of Lanzarote. The King of Spain, himself owns a villa here. The nearest beach is a small secluded cove which is a 10 min walk from the Apartment. This is our favourite spot as the sea is sheltered here and the water warmer. The main part of Costa Teguise is a 25-30 min walk either by the coastal path or through Costa Teguise itself. Along this route are shops, bars, Spanish Tapas bars, and restaurants. Once at the main part of Costa Teguise you will find plenty of places again to eat, catering from All Day Breakfasts to A La Carte meals, and an array of shops.
The main beach of Costa Teguise is long, white and gently shelving to the sea. Great for children. Sunbeds are available to hire and you can sample some of the beach activities on offer here.

We tend to drive down in the morning to the beach park the car and spend the day. If going out in the evening we walk down and then get a taxi back which costs only a few euros. There are planty of taxis around and local buses operate all over the Island and can be caught just outside the Apartment.

The only Water Park on the Island is in walking distance of the Apartment. The Golf Course, which at the moment is the only one on the Island until the course at Play Blanca is completed, is situated at the back of the Apartment. It is a 18 hole course. Par 72. Booking recommended. Please call me if you would like more information on the course.

Also for a change you can use the facilities at the Barcello Hotel which lies adjacent to the complex across the road. You are welcome to use their pools at no cost, sunbeds, evening entertainment, bars and a very nice buffett style restaurant catering for all sorts of tastes. We also change money at the reception and sometimes use their shop.

Costa Teguise has lots to offer from a enjoyable relaxing holiday to plenty of activities to keep you busy through out your stay.

How to get there

- Fly to Arrecife from any main or regional airports. We mainly book our flights on the internet with flightlink.com, lowcostbeds.com or thomsonfly.com. (We do tend to find the flights are cheaper from the main airports.).
- Car Hire available from www.autoreisen.es. They add no extra charges on top when you collect the car. Most of our guests have hired cars through this company. Their office is in airport and you collect the car from across the road outside the airport terminal building.
- Taxi should cost no more than 20 euros from the airport to the Apartment.
- Local buses are frequent and run from the Airport to Costa Teguise.
The Apartment is 15mins drive from the Airport. (I will give you directions if you require them)

We can sleep up to six people plus a cot. Please call to discuss this.
Pushchair, highchair, feeding equipement such as bowls and bibs etc a cot with bedding available at no extra charge.
Bathroom towels and bedding are changed once a week.
Please bring own beach towels.
We have a English Manger who lives on the complex and will over see your stay and is on hand if you require anything. Information folder for your use with leaflets of sights to visit, maps and information about the complex.
Complimentary welcome pack included in price.
Selection of DVDs, CDs and books.
There is a key/digital safe. (no charge)
If you are staying for 2 weeks or more then there will be included in the cost of your stay a towel and bedding change mid week. If you want to, I can arrange for a small charge, a clean of the apartment if you don't fancy pushing a mop and duster around.

Further details outdoors:
There are stairs to the Apartment. 10 steps.
The 2 sun balconies have garden furniture on them. 1 has 2 sunbeds. The other has full patio table and chairs. We do have BBQs on the patio.
Allocated parking bay.
You can also make use of the large hotel, The Barcello across the road from the complex. ie. heated pool, money changing, evening entertainment, and the lovely restaurant and bar.
Security. The complex is walled and has electonic gates which are operated by a key fob which you carry with you. If you have a late night flight then there is a key safe on the wall of the apartment which will release the key for you.
There is a shop on the complex and also a fast food takeaway.

3 pools and splash pool have no lifeguards attending, children will need to be supervised.

-A non refundable deposit of £100.00 will secure your booking and the balance to be paid 8 weeks before depature. A key deposit of £100.00 (cheque) will be required with your final payment. This will be returned (or can be used for your next holiday with us!) on receipt of the keys being returned and the property left in good working order.
