About the home

Ideal for couples and families, Amarilla 21 is a 1 bedroom apartment on one of six plazas built around swimming and toddler pools. Each of the spacious plazas have ample sunbeds and parasols. The apartment has its own patio with outdoor furnishing and BBQ area for al fresco dining.

Accommodation can sleep up to six, one bedroom with double bed, and a pull down double bed and pull out sofa bed in the living/dining area.

Fully equipped kitchen with 4 ring hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, dishwasher and breakfast bar with stools.

Spacious bathroom facilities include a bath with overhead shower, toilet and bidet. There is a separate dressing area with featured twin basins, a full width mirror, recessed lighting and a hair dryer.

All accommodation is on the ground floor, leading from the patio into the living/dining area through to the kitchen and then on to the bathroom/dressing area with a double bedroom at the back.

Bed linen and bath and hand towels are provided.

Pool/beach towels are NOT provided, although these can be made available at a small extra cost (payable locally). Please ask for details if required.

Safe keys can be hired from the main reception.

Further details outdoors:
The resort has six plazas and its own beach front lagoon. There are 7 swimming pools and a jacuzzi. Steps/ramps make access between the plazas and the beach front safe and simple.

There is a snack bar, restaurant and main bar within the complex. There is also an excellent well-stocked mini supermarket on site.

For the more active, there is a gym, tennis court and games room. And the children have their own playground.

Conditions

A refundable £150 security deposit is required with the final balance payment. This will be refunded within 14 days of departure, subject to a satisfactory property inspection.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote is the most northerly of the Canary Islands with unique moon like landscapes created from its volcanic birth. A refreshing breeze compliments all the year round sunshine with temperatures ranging from the low 70's (in January) to the high 80's (in August).

Timafaya National Park with its 'real volcano' and camels is a must visit. Many other places across the island are worth seeing too, the caves in the north, Mirador in the north east, El Golfo in the east, Yaitsa and Playa Blance in the south, not forgetting the cactus gardens and Cesar Manrique's house (built in a lava bubble) both close to Costa Teguise.

The Sunday market in the old capital of Teguise is also popular for visitors.

The Costa Teguise area

Costa Teguise is one of the more popular areas of Lanzarote boasting many return visitors.

It has one of the best beaches on the island (with a wide range of watersports available) close to the centre with supermarkets, shops and an excellent selection of bars and restaurants to hand. This is all within a 20 minute stroll from Sands Beach Resort.

An 18 hole golf course, with its 3000+ palm trees and ocean views, is a 5 minute drive away, as is the very popular aquapark.

Visit the Friday night market in the centre square of Costa Teguise and soak up the bustling atmosphere. Be prepared to 'haggle' and grab yourself a bargain!

However, if you just want peace and tranquilly, it has that too! It is a great place to relax and recharge the batteries.
