Villa Palmeras is situated on one of the best resorts in Lanzarote with its own beach front and sea-water fed lagoon. The resort has 6 beautiful plazas each with its own large swimming pool and separate children's pool, meaning it is never too busy even in the Summer months.  With all the on-site facilities there is really no need to leave the resort, however with the town and the award winning Las Cucharas beach just a 5 minute walk away it is well worth a visit.  In town you will find many shops, bars and excellent restaurants.The villa benefits from its own patio, garden and BBQ area, with outdoor furniture for alfresco dining and with the swimming pools just a few metres away from the patio this all makes for a very relaxing holiday. Imagine sunbathing by the pool and being able to just nip into your villa for a cold drink or some nibbles, theres no need to pack up the beach bag every day, and if a member of the family wants to get out of the sun for a while they can just relax inside the villa, whilst the rest of the family are in the pool or on the patio.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote is an all year round destination due to its excellent climate and weather.  Temperatures range from the low to mid 70's in January to high 80's in August.  However, there is always a gentle breeze which means it never seems to get too hot!

Lanzarote is a volcanic island and Timafaya Mountain is well worth a visit if want to see a real live volcano!  One of the appeals of Lanzarote is the recreational facilities which range from diving, snorkelling, windsurfing, sailing and deep sea fishing to a golf course and aqua park.

Costa Teguise area

Costa Teguise is one of the most attractive tourist areas on Lanzarote, thanks to its beaches, accommodation, services and tranquility. This is one of the preferred destinations for families visting the island.

Costa Teguise is just a 20 minutes drive from the airport and is a perfect base for exploring the rest of the island.

The golf course and aqua park are just a 5 minute drive away and locally there is an excellent selection of bars and restaurants, supermarkets and gift shops. Las Cucharas beach offers many water sports.

How to get there

20 minute taxi ride from Arrecife airport.

Some of the airline that fly to Arrecife are Thomas Cook, First Choice, Monarch and Easyjet.

The villa can sleep 4/6 people, and consists of one bedroom with a double bed, a pull-down double bed hidden within a mirrored wardrobe in the dining area and a pull-out sofa bed in the lounge area.  The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven and 4-ring ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, wine rack and breakfast bar with stools. The dining room has a table and 4 chairs and there is satellite TV and a DVD player. We have a very spacious walk-in shower room rather than a bath and the step into the bathroom has also been removed meaning the whole villa is on one level.  There is a separate vanity area with twin recessed hand basins set in marble, surrounded by full width mirrors.  There is also a shelf for toiletries and a hair dryer.  All doorways have been widened slightly to accommodate wheelchairs.

There are 2 swimming pools on our Plaza, a large gently sloping pool and a separate children's pool, both of which have plenty of sunbeds and parasols around them.
