The Canary Islands region
Costa Teguise is one of the main tourist resorts on the island with luxury hotels and apartments blending effortlessly with the striking architecture and landscape. Costa Teguise was developed from scratch in the late 1970s, initially as a luxury holiday playground, patronised by wealthy Spanish residents and King Hussein of Jordan, boasting projects under the influence of island design guru César Manrique. Costa Teuise offers the opportunity to bask in the sun, either at Playa Bastian or on one of the lovely white beaches nearby. Or to participate in a variet of activities on offer. With diving centres, golf courses and bicycle hire shops you will be spoilt for choice. The island's historical capital, La Villa de Teguise is only a 10-15 min drive away. It has a great market and is well worth visiting. Volcanoes, beaches, culture and sports, Costa Teguise is the ultimate place to relax
Costa Teguise is suitable for all ages. There are many beaches to choose from, all within walking distance. Restaurants cater for all tastes and pockets. There are many bars which provide evening entertainment and hotels are quite happy for people to join in their entertainment.

Costa Tequise is located on the central east coast of Lanzarote and is one of the islands main tourist resorts. Being 15km from Arrecife Airport it is easy to reach and is also a convenient place from which to explore the islands tourist and cultural attractions, as well as the northern fishing villages of Arrieta and Orzola.
The island’s historic capital of Teguise, 12km inland, is well worth a visit especially on a Sunday when there is a market in the centre of town. The resort is well situated to explore the many tourist attractions in the North of Lanzarote, such as the Cueva de los Verdes, Jameos del Agua and the Jardin de Cactus.
Costa Teguise is well served for beaches with some fine golden sand and like the rest of the island of Lanzarote, the Costa Teguise weather is usually very good all year round.
Windsurfing is a major pastime in Costa Teguise with visitors and residents alike. There are a number of windsurfing schools, shops and equipment rental companies clustered around the beach at Las Cucharas. Most levels of experience are catered for, from beginners upwards.
Costa Teguise currently has the only golf course on the island although more are under construction making this an ideal destination for golf in the sun all year round.
There is no shortage of shops with plenty of jewellers, discount electrical stores and general gift shops offering genuine tax savings.
The many food shops and supermarkets within the resort stock a good range of international produce whilst a variety of fine restaurants are available for those who prefer to dine out.
Costa Teguise night life can be classed as lively but not rowdy. Restaurants are open until late and there is a good selection of bars.

"Homely apartment, great location. We will return."
The location of Playa Bastian was excellent, with the small, quiet beach just a few minutes walk, and some good restaurants (Oscar's and La Jordana in particular) just up the road, with a well-stocked Hyper Dino supermarket and bus stop opposite the complex. The centre of Costa Teguise is only a 10-15 minute stroll away where there are more shops, bars, restaurants and a large sandy beach.
The apartment itself was on the edge of the complex, clean, well furnished and equipped, with a good view over the pool but not being overlooked by those around the pool. We particularly liked the walk-in shower.
The owner responded to our enquiries very promptly providing location maps of the complex and the apartment.
We checked out Playa Blanca as a possible future holiday location but we enjoyed Playa Bastian so much we fully intend returning for one of our breaks next year.

We have stayed at this apartment 10 times or more its always spotless, clean and well mentained, Ken Alex and and ther family and friends will give you a warm welcome if on site as they also have a bungalow there. This is one of the most sort after complex in Costa Teguise with friendly people with a nice pool bar on a well kept site with only a short walk to great bars, resturants and beaches, enjoy your stay.

"Not bad but not great"
Clean enough, but not enough towels to last a week for three people. Bed solid and pull out bed not the comfiest. Complex is beautiful but swimming pool not heated because heater is not strong enough for size of pool, and you really do need it heated. Pool was absolutely freezing. Location is a small walk to centre but the walk is stunning. Beach area is beautiful. People are great and it felt safe enough to let kids do own thing. Love Lanzarote but just not this complex due to pool. Sorry.
