Villa | 5 bedrooms | sleeps 9
Our Villa Leopoldo is the right place for all those who look for tranquility and relaxation in their holidays - away from the ordinary tourist hype. The villa is located in the quiet residential area "Las Buganvillas" on the northern edge of Costa Teguise between the Aquapark and the Golf Club. The golden beaches and shopping areas of Costa Teguise are only a five minute drive away.
In the villa there is enough space for 9 people. Therefore it is comparably convenient for a family vacation - the kids will love the heated pool -, a group of golf playing friends or a couple who loves it more spacious.

The Canary Islands region
Lanzarote, a Spanish island, is the easternmost of the autonomous Canary Islands, situated in the Atlantic Ocean, approximately 125 km off the coast of Africa. The first recorded name for the island, given by Angelino Dulcert, was Insula de Lanzarotus Marocelus, after the Genoese navigator Lancelotto Malocello, from which the modern name is derived. The island's name in the native language was Titerro(y)gatra, which may mean "the red mountains".
Lanzarote's attractions are dramatic and diverse. They range from the spectacular golden beaches which are renowned for surfing, sailing and diving, to the natural wonders of the island, such as Timanfaya National Park, the Caves of los Verdes and the El Golfo lagoon which are ideal for exploring.
Lanzarote's wine and cuisine is well renowned. Indeed, the Canarian Malvasía wine was a prestigious drink. Bottles graced the top tables of kings and queens across Europe. It was widely regarded by the cognoscenti as 'the nectar of the gods'. Canarian wine today is no less distrinctive. The wines of Lanzarote, made famous by the bodegas of Stratvs and El Grifo, have won numerous international awards.
Everywhere on the island, the works of the famous island son César Manrique can be found. César Manrique was (+ 1992) an architect, painter, landscape designers, artist, etc. His most famous works are Jameos del Agua, Mirador del Rio, Fundación César Manrique, the Cactus Garden in Guatiza, Monumento al Campesino, the restaurant "El Diablo" in the Timanfaya National Park and various wind chimes at the numerous roundabouts of Lanzarote.
Costa Teguise is the northernmost of the three major tourist resorts in Lanzarote. There are several excellent beaches in Costa Teguise: Playa Bastian, Playa Jablillo (good for smaller children) and Playa Las Cucharas (main beach for windsurfing). Like all lively resorts Costa Teguise has numerous bars, restaurants and shops.
A short distance away (1.5 km) from Villa Leopoldo is 'Aquapark' which has a wide range of water attractions for the whole family. Adjacent (1.5 km) to Villa Leopoldo is Costa Teguise's celebrated 18 hole Golf Club which you can join for the duration of your holiday. Its charming Club House restaurant “Getaria” is open all day for snacks and meals.
There is also a Fitness Spa in the Beatriz Hotel along with all the Beauty Treatments you could ever want.Costa Teguise is about 15 minutes drive from the airport and on the way you pass the capital Arrecife. The next tourist resort Puerto del Carmen is about 25 minutes away.
