About the home

Villa Abbeylara is a very comfortable, well equipped villa in the best location of Costa Teguise.
On a private cul-de-sac, one of the Las Calas Villas, peace and quiet are guarenteed yet it is only a five minute stroll to the beautiful beach of Las Cucharas.
Its no surprise that many of our clients return year after year to Abbeylara. We provide a hands on service to ensure your holiday at Abbeylara meets with our highest standards and is all that you have dreamed of.
Our guests relax and enjoy the holiday from the moment they arrive. The complimentary welcome pack will be waiting for all our guests. Your beach towels on the sunbeds and a great library of "good reads" just for starters!

Facilities

Further details indoors:
Abbeylara is a single storey villa with a spacious layout. The lounge is at the front of the house with patio doors out to the terrace and pool area. An additional security lock is provided on the patio doors for child safety. It is comfortably furnished with two three seater sofas and a relaxing chair and footstool to accommodate all guests. The kitchen is fully fitted with plenty of crockery and glassware. There is a ceramic hob and full oven as well as microwave, and a family sized fridge freezer. From the back door of the kitchen a laundry area has a washing machine with a drying area situated in the garden.
There are three comfortable bedrooms, two with twin beds and one with a double bed. Each bedroom having plenty of fitted wardrobes,restful lighting and shuttered windows. A safe is available for your use. There are also two full bathrooms each with bath/overhead shower, w.c., bidet and washand basin.

Outside living is really what a Lanzarote holiday is all about and at Abbeylara you will be able to make the most of the super climate and great outdoors. The pool is both electrically and solar heated for year round use and comfort. It is accessed by wide roman steps and so is most suitable for children. The spacious terrace has ample sunloungers with cushions and a dining area under a shady pergola. There is also an outside sitting room accessed from the terrace with a bar and drinks fridge and furnished with a sofa bed. This accommodates an extra adult (seventh person) when necessary. The whole outside area is walled for your privacy and security and accessed through a locking gate.

A champagne welcome pack is provided on arrival.
Maid service is weekly with a mid week towel change. Both villa towels and beach towels are provided for your use. The pool is maintained twice weekly also.
Sorry smoking is not permitted in the villa building but ashtrays are provided for outside use.
Abbeylara is maintained by the owners and is highly reccommended by previous guests.

Conditions

A deposit of 20% is required to confirm a booking. This can be paid by credit card.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote is renowned for its fabulous climate with temperatures averaging 17C in January/February and 24C in the summer, usually accommpanied with a cooling breeze. All of the Canaries are volcanic in origin with Lanzarote displaying a renowned "moonscape" in its national park of Timanfaya. This region and adjoining wine producing area are well worth a visit. Also responsible for shaping Lanzarote is the local artist and architect Cesar Manrique, his installations are visible throughout the Island and his own home is open to the public.

The Costa Teguise / Las Calas area

Costa Teguise is fast becoming the popular destination with visitors to Lanzarote. The resort is well maintained and easy to cover on foot. The beaches are the main attraction with miles of toasty golden sand, clear sea and plenty of watersport activities. Snorkling and diving are popular. The resort has a great many restaurants and shops to cover all tastes and budgets. The Islands only golf course and water park are situated in Costa Teguise.

Taxi easily available from airport or we can book you a hire car at great rates for our customers. A regular bus service runs to Arrecife: half hourly.
Ferry service from Arrecife to other Islands and mainland Spain

“Great location, super villa” The villa is central to all of Costa Teguise and is located on private quiet road. Guests are well looked after by the owners and the villa is close to supermarkets, restaurants, bars and the beach. we have been to this villa every year for the past 6 years and havealready booked for next year. Just wanted to say a big thankyou (again) for our wonderful week in your beautiful villa.
It was such a hassle free process from the taxi picking us up at the airport, Derek being at the villa when we arrived to the taxi picking us up right on time to take us back to the airport.
We all had a lovely time and Costa Teguise is a gorgeous resort
